2011 Audi e-Tron A3

Audi e-Tron A3
The Audi e-Tron A3 incorporates a 1.4 liter of TFSI turbocharged engine. The engine can produce the power up to 211 HP; meanwhile the motor can produce 27 HP. The top speed of this car is 144 miles per hour.

At first glance, the 2011 Audi e-Tron Concept does not seem like the power house that it is built to be. True to Audi’s philosophy of producing worthy candidates for the car-loving market, the 2011 Audi e-Tron Concept combines the luxury of having a powerful machine and the pleasure of having such an aesthetic work of art in your hands

Audi has taken their Audi E-tron concept a step forward with the unveiling of the E-tron A3 concept - a compact car featuring a powerful electric motor and a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery. The concept has received a revised instrument cluster, leather Alcantara seats, a heated windshield, and an optimized air conditioning system.

As a hybrid concept, Audi decided to use a different engine than the one found in the A3 Sedan Concept. Of course, being a hybrid concept, performance takes a back seat to fuel efficiency and that’s where the E-tron A3 Concept has the upper hand over the gasoline-powered A3 Concept.

The Audi e-Tron A3 Concept looks remarkably similar to the A3 Concept and there’s a reason for that.
In place of the 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five engine of the A3 Sedan Concept, Audi put a hybrid powertrain that’s made up of a 1.4-liter TFSI turbocharged gas engine with direct injection and an electric motor with an output of 27 horsepower.

2011 Audi Q5 Hybrid

2011 Audi Q5 Hybrid
2011 Audi Q5 Hybrid,According to a new report, Audi will offer the hybrid Q5 in 2011. It was originally thought the Q5 hybrid would hit the market in late 2010, but it remains possible the hybrid Q5 could still launch next year with a 2011 model year designation. It remains unclear what powertrain Audi will mate to the hybrid system.Audi will launch a diesel version of the Q5 sometime after the hybrid model hits the market.

Audi has followed the recent German tradition of slotting the electric motor between the engine and the eight-speed automatic gearbox and using it to replace the torque converter. There's no starter because the electric motor does that job, along with generating 12-volt power to power up the a/c, water pump and power steering.

Audi is anticipating cities adopting "green zones" where you won't be able to drive on internal combustion power, so the "Q5 Hybrid has a full electric mode using the 211Nm, 33kW electric motor".

Audi insists it can hit 100kph as a pure electric car and, at a steady 60kph, the Q5 will run for 3km. Usually, the car's brain turned on the petrol motor far sooner
The Sport mode sees the electric motor team up with the turbo petrol engine to add more urge to the surge on hard acceleration. Hybrids need an imperceptible switch between electric power to petrol power, but the Q5's petrol motor gave a significant shudder when it fired up. It's also quick when both motors are at work. The petrol engine needs to wait until the engine revs build up to its torque peak; the electric doesn't and is like flicking a switch to "Maximum Torque".

The ride quality and interior are virtually unchanged, and the handling doesn't lose anything because there's the extra weight of the battery pack at the back balancing the electric motor up front.

For the first time for the North American market, Audi will offer a gasoline/electric hybrid in the form of the 2011 Q5 Hybrid. Presumably, the Hybrid will come with Quattro all-wheel drive.
Though "Lexus "long ago started offering a "hybrid luxury crossover in the form of the RX 400h, the 2011 Audi Q5 Hybrid" should stand out thanks to a sporty driving experience.

2011 Audi S4 Overviews

2011 Audi S4
The 2011 Audi S4 is a performance focused vehicle with a price tag to match. With all this power, the 2011 Audi S4 still manages to give its driver a fuel economy of 27 mpg on the highway, a 26% improvement over the previous year.

Transmission and Handling of the 2011 Audi S4
The Audi S4 is available in both 6 speed manual transmissions and 7 speed auto-shift manual transmissions, both of which come with overdrive. The S4 features all wheel drive with independent front and rear multi-link suspension with anti-roll bar. Available options include an electro-mechanical limited slip differential, ride control, and adaptive suspension for maximum vehicle stability and control.

Leather sport seats with heated power front seats and driver and passenger lumbar support make riding in the Audi S4 both stylish and comfortable.
With the 2011 S4 sport sedan, Audi takes on the likes of the BMW 335i and Benz C350 and provides a high-powered alternative for those who want a step up from the basic A4 sport sedan.
Audi says the S4 shoots past 60 mph in 4.9 seconds, with a limited 155-mph top speed. Just as the A4, the Audi S4 gets Audi's quattro all-wheel drive, with a power split weighted to the rear wheels, and an optional Sports Rear Differential that vectors power from side to side, give the S4 awesome road-holding potential and grippy feel. Audi's base configuration works well enough to avoid the expensive option.

Leather is standard, along with Bluetooth, a music interface for audio players, keyless entry and ignition, xenon headlamps, and Audi's MMI controller, which operates audio, climate, and navigation functions.
All-wheel drive comes standard and sends 60 percent of the engine's power to the rear wheels.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
The 2011 Audi S4 is a high-performance sedan available with either the Premium Plus or Prestige option packages.
Standard equipment for the Premium Plus includes 18-inch wheels with summer tires, a sunroof, automatic xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, foglights, automatic wipers, tri-zone automatic climate control, eight-way power sport seats, leather and faux-suede upholstery, heated front seats, a 60/40-split-folding rear seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, Bluetooth, a dash-mounted MMI electronics controller and a 10-speaker stereo with single-CD player, iPod interface, satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack.

The Audi S4 Prestige adds 19-inch wheels, a rearview camera, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, driver memory functions, keyless ignition/entry, voice controls, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo, an MMI controller mounted on the center console and a hard-drive-based navigation system with digital music storage, real-time traffic and HD radio.

The navigation system with rearview camera is optional for the Premium Plus package, as is the upgraded audio system. The Audi Drive Select Package, available for Prestige models, adds adaptive suspension dampers, an enhanced steering system, a sport rear differential that can distribute torque individually to each rear wheel, and selectable driving settings. Stand-alone options include 19-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot assist, full leather seats and a power rear sunshade with manual rear side shades.

The 2011 Audi S4 is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 333 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through Audi's AWD system, which features a torque split of 40 percent front/60 percent rear. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual (S tronic) is optional. A sport rear differential (which varies torque between the rear wheels) is also available.
EPA-estimated fuel economy is above average for this class of car, with 18 mpg city/27 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined with the manual.

Safety
The 2011 Audi S4 comes standard with stability and traction control, antilock brakes, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and hill-hold for the manual transmission. Rear side airbags are optional.

Interior Design and Special Features
The Audi S4's cabin is one of the nicest in this class. The control layout is attractive, if button-happy, and the seats are both supportive and comfortable. The MMI controls are conveniently arrayed around the console-mounted shifter on models equipped with the navigation system.
Driving Impressions
An excellent alternative is the dual-clutch automated manual transmission.

2011 Audi A8 Test Drive Reviews

2011 Audi A8
Audi A8 Test Drive. From a touch-based interface that allows drivers to enter queries by simply drawing characters to an all-new eight-speed transmission and some of the highest-quality interior materials we've seen, the car is a monumental achievement for Audi.

Throw in the on-the-fly throttle mapping (via Audi's Drive Select setup in the multimedia interface), and the eight-pot seems like the perfect choice for Audi's flagship leviathan.

Audi says it has managed to increase fuel economy by up to 15 percent, thanks to the slimmer beltline and remarkable gearbox. The EPA hasn't churned out final figures on the Audi A8 yet, but if Audi is to be believed, we should be looking at somewhere around 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.

The material quality inside the new Audi A8 is a benchmark for Audi, for the first time besting both BMW and Mercedes-Benz by a comfortable margin. There's entirely new ambient LED interior lighting, found in soft strips reminiscent of neon in carefully chosen places. The navigation hooks up with Google, and to input an address, you simply write out the address--with your finger--on a console-mounted pad. The biggest surprise here is that the system actually works.

The full-size luxury-car segment is a ship constantly steered by a new captain. The BMW 7-series recently pulled off this feat, topping the previous gold standard, the Mercedes-Benz S550, in a comparison test. One Engine Now, Others Coming
Audi says the Audi A8 returns 13-percent-better fuel economy than does its predecessor, which translates roughly to 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway for the new car.

Have no fear, power brokers: There will be other engines available in the coming years. The diesel feels peppy thanks, to the smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission, which is perfectly calibrated to keep the engine in the juicy part of the torque plateau. Unmistakably an Audi, the A8 Is Light on Its Feet

Wheel sizes range from 17 inches to 20.
That demeanor comes in part from the fitment of the high-tech bits that are optional on lesser models as part of Audi “drive select” packages. Standard on the Audi A8 are adjustable shocks, variable-rate air springs, variable-ratio steering, and most notably, the torque-vectoring rear differential found in the S4 and S5. A “more dynamic” adjustable air suspension is part of a Sport package on the current car, but given the new car’s standard chassis hardware, we expect that if such a package were to be offered, it would encompass only wheels and aesthetic tweaks.)
The trick diff helps curb the effects of that longtime bane of Audi dynamics, weight distribution. Audi engines have traditionally been bolted well ahead of the front axle, a front-heavy setup that contributes to predominant, if predictable, understeer. Like the latest 7-series, the Audi A8 drives smaller than its length (202.2 inches) suggests, and the variable-rate steering transmits a good amount of information from the tires. Mobile Office Redefined

In sales, Audi's flagship A8 has lagged a distant 3rd to its Teutonic competitors, the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. True to Audi's subtle style, the 2011 Audi A8 isn't a radical departure from the previous design, with no bulging Bangle butt or swooping Benz roof line.

Performance
We drove the 2011 Audi A8 4.2 FSI Quattro at a press event near Malaga, Spain, when the Costa del Sol defied its description on a day of heavy rain. Engine torque is rear-biased, with the all-wheel-drive system directing 60 percent of power to the rear wheels and 40 percent to the front. A non-intrusive stability control system helps keep all four wheels planted. Audi's Drive Select feature has four settings -- Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and Individual -- for varying the throttle response, shift points, steering feel and suspension stiffness.
We left the tranny in auto-sport mode for highway cruising and spent the majority of our twisty mountain-road time working the paddle shifters.

Comfort
In the 2011 Audi A8 Sedan, high performance doesn't come at the expense of comfort. The rear-seating area is generous, with ample leg- and headroom. The optional rear entertainment system includes a separate set of Audi's Multi Media Interface (MMI) controls that allow access to any entertainment option.

Function
If there's one area in which Audi has an advantage over its Teutonic competitors, it's with the MMI controller. Using a finger, drivers can trace letters on the touchpad to input navigation system destinations. Like other nav systems, it loads logical choices as each character is entered, but with the 2011 Audi A8's system you don't have to hunt and peck on a traditional touchscreen or dial in a destination using a rotary controller.

B&O's trademark Acoustic Lens tweeters rise out of the dash when the system is turned on and recess when it's switched off.
The designers went a little wilder (by Audi's previously Spartan standards) in the interior, especially compared to the previous austere treatment.
Our 4.2 FSI test car's interior came laden with rich wood, sleek aluminum and soft leather accents. The 2011 Audi A8 offers best-in-class technology and competitive performance.

2011 Audi A1 Reviews

Audi A1
Now Audi wants a slice of the pie and is chasing buyers with its new, three-door Audi A1 Sport.
VALUE
Audi matches the Mini Cooper S pretty much point for point with the engines sharing a similar output and the cars having plenty of kit to help the medicine go down. TECHNOLOGY
The seven-speed is the only transmission on A1 Sport and offers D for lazy-bones drivers and paddle shift for the sporty punters.

Works a treat giving the diminutive A1 Sport decent acceleration and strident roll-on performance at all speeds.

The body/chassis features generous use of high strength steel for added rigidity.
Electronics feature heavily in controlling the A1 Sport with sports stability control and an electronic limited slip differential that has a similar effect as torque vectoring (using the brakes/throttle to help steer the car)

DESIGN
The seats themselves are more sports oriented with deeper side bolsters and firmer padding.
There's plenty of safety gear too including six air bags, rear park assist and a five star crash rating.

DRIVING
What fun.
Needless to say the A1 Sport acquitted itself admirably whipping through the safety cones like a scalpel, blasting over the 400 metre drag race strip and behaving like a racing kart on the street circuit. VERDICT

We like the A1 Sport for its spirit.
The Audi A1 is determined by the VW Polo platform, a design because the cheapo edition from the short-lived Audi 50. Audi will even paint the roof pillars, which stretch from front to rear in a single easy arc, in a very contrasting shade for additional awesomeness.

The 2011 Audi A1 provides an option of four turbocharged four-bangers: two diesel and two gasoline engines. Petrolheads obtain a selection of the 1.2-liter, eight-valve engine making 85 hp as well as a 1.4-liter 16-valver turning out 122 hp. The sensation of control is improved from the 2011 Audi A1’s outstanding chassis setup. It is Audi’s model with the Volkswagen XDS program, and it arrives on each 2011 Audi A1, not only on top-of-the-line versions, like at VW.

Once you discover how the site behaves TFSI high speeds, running at a normal pace will not seem at all attractive. Sweet sensations will be amplified by a precise transmission with short halves, which will ask you to stick your hand grip and switch to demote sick and obsessive closer every turn. Merriment that demonstrates little German and perfectly reflects the value of acceleration. For child occupant protection received an A1 rating satisfactory, but not the same thing happened in Chapter pedestrian protection, which endangered the life hood dummy. It comes with standard ESP, electronic differential lock , EDS, ASR, EBV and, of course, ABS.

Engineers have installed automatic air conditioning, power windows, audio quality, light and rain sensors and steering wheel. To demonstrate the premium, but the Germans raise a multimedia system with Audi fans already familiar with quality materials, auxiliary audio connections with a navigation system and a mobile phone connection. Mini segment having a head which passes back and rely more on emotional impact, the Audi was forced to risk everything to design.

2011 Audi A8 Review

2011 Audi A8
2011 Audi A8 Super Luxury Cars. The automotive press loves the 2011 Audi A8’s good fuel economy, excellent suspension, standard Quattro all-wheel drive and opulent, tech-heavy interior. It ties the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Hybrid and the V6-powered Porsche Panamera in terms of fuel economy, but it’s more powerful than either and features standard all-wheel drive.

Many reviewers say that Audi offers some of the highest quality interiors available today, and as the company’s flagship the 2011 Audi A8 features the automaker’s best materials and available cabin tech. Audi’s MMI electronics interface has also garnered positive reviews. Despite all this interior room and comfort, reviewers say that the trunk of the Audi A8 is lacking. At just 13.2 cubic feet, the A8’s cargo hold is small, not only compared to other super luxury cars, but also compared to the 15.9 cubic feet in the smaller Audi A6. To match the A8’s grip, you’ll pay about $9,500 less for an all-wheel drive LS. The LS also can’t match the A8’s fuel economy. According to the EPA, the base LS gets 16 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, which is less impressive than the A8’s 17/27 mpg city/highway.

If the LS doesn’t fit the bill, the BMW 7-Series might. The 750i xDrive starts at $85,500, while the extended-wheelbase 750Li xDrive costs nearly $89,500. Additionally, the all-wheel drive 7-Series can’t match the A8’s fuel efficiency.

Order the long wheelbase version and it becomes, well, longer still. Various options can place all of these cruisers north of $150-large.

Built around an aluminum space frame, the Audi A8 offers the advantages of lighter weight as well as a 25 percent increase in rigidity and strength, which in turn results in improved handling and fuel efficiency. Technology is everywhere in this new sedan including an available Driver’s Assistance Package, which includes radar/Night vision assistance located in the Audi linked rings logo in the grille, and a forward-looking camera located in the center rearview mirror. Add to that an adaptive cruise control with stop and go functions, lane assist, and Audi side assist for blindspot detection.

There’s also Pre Sense rear protection, which senses a rapidly approaching vehicle from the rear and pretensions the seatbelts, raises windows and brings seats back into an upright position for better crash survivability.

A new version of Audi’s ESP with torque vectoring Quattro all-wheel-drive is now in place, helping to keep the car within the proper lanes, and offering haptic feedback if the car should start to stray.

Audi of America VP for Corporate Communications, Jeff Kuhlman relayed to us how the take rate for the previous (3rd Generation) A8L was 90-percent versus 10-percent for the A8 NWB – or normal wheelbase, as Audi prefers – and he expects that will continue to be the case here. Coincidentally, the European consensus is about 90-percent for the normal wheelbase, and 10-percent for the long wheelbase model. Incidentally, a W12-powered version will be available in Spring 2011, but only in A8L trim.

Panel fit and finish were as tight as one of Joan River’s facelifts, and placement of everything once again confirms that Audi builds a driver’s car. Our tester was fairly well loaded with driver and front passenger seats offering full adjustments including thigh and side bolsters, heating and ventilating, and five-way full massage controls, which were adjustable in intensity as well as location.

A center console is the main input area for driver controls involving climate, audio, navigation, and in-car entertainment (if equipped). Bang and Olufsen engineered the A8’s available high-line 1400-watt, 19-speaker audio system. An eight-speed Tiptronic transmission with paddle shift levers gets the V8’s power to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. We struggled several times finding the proper “touch” required to place the car in reverse. The Quattro provides for an asymmetric rear-biased torque split of 40/60. Speed dependent power-assisted steering offered excellent driver feedback without giving the feeling of being too boosted. Audi’s standard adaptive air suspension is integrated with the A8’s drive select dynamics system. Otherwise the car felt otherworldly in its abilities.

We've driven the 2011 Audi A8. Bluetooth? iPod? Audi now understands the technology demands of today's luxury car buyer, which is why it has outfitted its all-new 2011 Audi A8 with an arsenal of electronics from a laptoplike touchpad to a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
For the fourth-generation Audi A8, Audi stuck with a winning formula but added a significant new feature: MMI touch, a touchpad controller on the driver side of the center console. The Bluetooth system can also be programmed so that critical numbers stay with the car instead of following the phone. Steering-wheel controls cycle through navigation, phone, audio and vehicle information in the IP display, and each subset is color-coded to help clue the driver to what's being presented.

Myriad Music Options
If there's a way to access and store music in a car, the 2011 Audi A8 has it completely covered.
VIP Lounge
The 2011 Audi A8 offers a refined rear-entertainment system that's more suited to spoiled execs than rich rug rats.

2011 Audi A7 Review

Audi A7
Audi A7 Sportback
The diesel-powered Audi A7 Sportback is driven by a 3.0 litre V6 TDI engine, delivering 180kW and 500Nm of torque. As with the petrol model, the A7 Sportback TDI is equipped with quattro all-wheel-drive and the seven-speed S tronic transmission. The Audi A7 Sportback Measures 1.4 metres tall, 4.97 metres long and 1.91 metres wide, riding on an exceptionally long 2.91 metre wheelbase - improving interior space and legroom.
Inside, the Audi A7 Sportback gets ventilated massaging front seats as an option, while Audi's MMI 8-inch display system is standard. A Bang & Olufsen audio system features on the options list.

2011 Audi A7 Sportback Exterior Elegance
The North American market missed out on the stunning 2010 model Audi A5 Sport Back, but not to worry as the Audi A7 Sport Back will be hitting North American shores and will be blessed with a more elegant design and more spacious to boot with its 114.6 inch wheelbase. The Audi A7 boast impressive LED running lights that are mostly incorporated within the vast majority of new Audi models, while the grille is shaped in a trapezoidal fashion. Audi has stated that the exterior design of this vehicle is called the “tornado line”, this shapes the vehicle and defining a beautifully shaped side and rear. A special little feature that has been incorporated on this model is that when the vehicle reaches speeds of over 50 mph the spoiler rises automatically and below 50 mph retracts back into the vehicle. Audi has whispered about a possible high performance model maybe available in the future.

The Audi A7 also comes with some technological upgrades. The A7 is the first model from Audi that has been incorporated with a new active parallel parking system; although not available in the U.S.
Incidentally, the German designers appear to have taken fullest advantage of its enormous 115” wheelbase to provide ample leg room while giving the car its ‘stretched’ look and whale-like aerodynamics.

Standard features of the 2011 Audi A7 includes original leather upholstery, power and heated front seats, exclusive Audi drive select, Sirius satellite radio, Audi Music interface, Bluetooth, Homelink, three zone climate control and fully automatic headlights with built-in light and rain sensor windshield wipers. No, it does not sport headlight wipers as in Mercedes-Benz e-class vehicles.
For your information, the Audi A7 is aided by 8-speed Triptonic Automatic Transmission promised to provide 18 city and 28 autobahn miles per gallon.

2011 Audi Q7 TDI

2011 Q7’s prices are expected to be just as high as the 2010 model’s, it continues to be the best value. The Lexus RX 350 starts at about $9,000 less and offers one of the highest fuel economy ratings in the class. Its 18/25 city/highway rating is even better than the Q7 turbodiesel’s rating. However, the RX 350 doesn’t offer a third-row seat.

Note that Audi expects a fuel economy increase for 2011, but neither Audi nor the EPA has released figures.

For 2011, the Q7 receives minor exterior revisions, the new engines and transmission, and standard HD radio. Audi has not yet announced trims for 2011. All models come standard with Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system.

Vehicles like the Audi Q7 TDI have done a lot to change the perception that diesel vehicles are crude, stinky, black smoke-spewers, and the company's lone turbodiesel SUV gets even better for 2011. Thanks to the 406 pound-feet of torque at a low, low 1750 rpm, it takes very little throttle to accelerate or pass in traffic. Braking is precise, and the discs respond seemingly instantly to driver input. At the track, the TDI went from 0 to 60 mph in 8.6 seconds, which is about a second slower than the gas 4.2-liter V-8 we tested a couple years ago and the 2011 got through the quarter mile in 16.5 seconds at 82.

The 2011 Audi Q7 quattro has two new engines this year. The new engines are intriguing, however. Both are 3.0-liter engines. Not only does blown six make more power than the naturally-aspirated eight, Audi notes that it's some 16 percent more fuel efficient. The 2011 Audi Q7 we are reviewing is the Q7 TDI. The 3.0 TDI is the same turbodiesel V-6 as used in the recently tested 2011 Volkswagen Touareg TDI, rated at 225 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, and like the Touareg has the same eight-speed automatic transmission. And like the Touareg, has standard all-wheel drive, although for the Q7 it Audi's proprietary quattro system.
The Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg are not, however, badge-engineered corporate kin. The Audi is longer, with five more inches between the front and rear axles, and seats up to seven. The Touareg has only two rows of seats.

The Audi Q7 has presence.
The interior is all Audi. Want proof the Audi Q7 is wide? There's room on either side of the already wide shift lever mount for control buttons, and between them is Audi's MMI controller. The Audi Q7 has three rows of seating with seven seatbelts, but the front seats are definitely first cabin. Getting a standard size adult into the third row is difficult, and folding the middle row seatback to its nominal position is cruel if not unusual punishment to any adult in the third row.

Audi also did an outstanding job of sound insulation, as raising the hood will prove. The sounds the engine makes when underway are different from any gas engine and no doubt will be enjoyed by anyone who buys an Audi Q7 TDI, an aural confirmation of an unconventional choice in power.

Audi claims 8.5 seconds for the zero-to-sixty mph dash. Standard towing capacity is 5,500lbs (with a 550 pound tongue-weight), plus there's a trailer hitch package that includes a tow bar and increased cooling capacity, increasing tow rating to 6,600lbs (with a 660 pound tongue-weight).
The EPA rating for the 2011 Audi Q7 TDI is 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, however we found that we were able to get 24.0 mpg with mostly highway driving, with 19.7 mpg in mixed all-around driving in cold weather and hilly terrain, both having a negative impact on fuel economy numbers.

The 2011 Audi Q7 TDI, just from being a diesel, might be expected to be dull witted on the road. Thank Audi's adaptive air suspension. The slowest accelerating but the best mileage of the three 2011 Audi Q7 models, the TDI is priced in the middle. The "base" 2011 Audi Q7 Premium with the standard 3.0T engine has a base price of $46,250, while the Q7 S Line Prestige--required to get the 3.0T engine--starts at $59,450, but includes a lot of extras. The 2011 Audi Q7 TDI price (according to our window sticker but later raised) begins at $50,900.

2012 Audi A7 Sportback.

Made in December stunned the automotive world with the emergence of the latest line-up of Audi, the Audi A7 Sportback is so sexy and fresh. With innovative display a blend of premium sedan coupe mingled with the scent, making the Audi A7 Sportback as material for discussion of the board.

But the beauty of the work of the Audi designers did not make the tuners or modifiers do not glance at a world class car. As a result, MTM (Motoren Technik Mayer), which is one of the tuner from Germany, has recently showcased on the body modification package Audi A7 Sportback.
In eskterior sector, MTM change rear diffuser to accommodate four exhaust on the drain. Standard alloy wheels also replaced with super light output Bimoto with cross motif 9. In addition, all four wheels attached spacer (20-30 mm) to be more outgoing and later applied electric modules on the suspension to be more flat.

Turning to the engine innards, MTM make improvements to the type of remaping ECU 3.0 TDI quattro Audi A7. As a result, workers managed to up than 244 hp to 285 hp. The increase in power of 40 hp is certainly going to be felt, is not it?

Audi TT RS, 2010

Audi TT RS, 2010

The Audi TT RS has a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine with direct gasoline injection; it produces 250 kW (340 bhp) and 450 Nm (331.90 lb.-ft.) of torque. The blazing five-cylinder engine enables the Audi TT RS to perform extraordinary feats. In conjunction with quattro permanent all-wheel drive and a high-performance chassis, the engine makes the compact Audi TT RS a top-notch sports car - available as a coupé or roadster.

Sporty five-cylinder gasoline engines have a long legacy at Audi. The most famous is arguably the turbocharged 2.1-liter engine in the Audi quattro. The first version, which was launched in 1980, offered an impressive 147 kW (200 bhp). And the Audi Sport quattro from 1984, directly inspired by motorsport, delivered a whopping 225 kW (306 bhp). For 25 years, turbochargers and quattro have been a dynamic formula for success.

Audi has resumed using this recipe. Designed from scratch, the five-cylinder engine combines a turbocharger with FSI direct gasoline injection to elevate the Audi TT RS to a high-performance sports car. The TFSI delivers 250 kW (340 bhp) from a displacement of 2,480 cc (151.34 cu in): a specific output of 100.8 kW (137.1 bhp) per liter.

The power-to-weight ratio is also outstanding. In the case of the Coupé, which weighs in at a mere 1,450 kilograms (3,196.70 pounds), the power-to-weight ratio is just 4.3 kilograms per bhp. The Audi TT RS Roadster has a weight of 1,510 kilograms (3,328.98 pounds) and a power-to-weight ratio of 4.4 kilograms per bhp - thanks to its extremely lightweight and largely aluminum body constructed as per the Audi Space Frame principle.

The Audi TT RS Coupé rockets from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62.14 mph) in 4.6 seconds; the Audi TT RS Roadster needs just a tenth of a second longer. The limited top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph) is merely the official figure for both versions; as an option, Audi can increase it to 280 km/h (173.98 mph).

Compact and Lightweight: The Five-cylinder TFSI
The ultra-powerful five-cylinder engine is extremely fuel-efficient, requiring an average of just 9.2 liters/100 km [25.57 mpg] as regards the Coupé (Roadster: 9.5 l/100 km [24.76 mpg]). Switchable flaps in the intake manifold mix the incoming air in a calculated configuration. Injected at a pressure as high as 120 bar by the common-rail system, the gasoline swirls intensely in the combustion chamber - which in turn cools the walls. This subsequently facilitates a compression ratio of 10.0:1, which is very high for a turbocharged engine. Both of the adjustable camshafts, controlled via chains, also enhance charging efficiency with respect to the air-fuel mixture.

The large turbocharger generates up to 1.2 bar of boost pressure. The intercooler, fed air ideally by the lower segment of the single frame radiator grille, reduces the temperature of compressed air by over 80 percent at full load.

When an Audi TT RS driver pushes the standard Sport button on the center tunnel, a flap installed in the left exhaust tailpipe renders the exhaust noise even more robust and intense while boosting engine responsiveness. An optional Sport exhaust system is available with matt black tailpipe trims and sound flap.

For Purists: The Driveline
The Audi TT RS is the first classic sports car in the Audi RS family. Like the Audi RS4 and the Audi RS6, the Audi TT RS was developed by quattro GmbH as a pure, no-holds-barred driving machine. A new six-speed manual transmission conveys the engine's tremendous power, and permits easy and precise operation thanks to a specially designed shift lever boasting particularly short shift travel. The transmission's defining characteristics are a high efficiency ratio and a sportily narrow spread of the gear ratios.

The Audi TT RS features quattro permanent all-wheel drive as standard equipment. Its heart lies at the rear axle: an electronically controlled, hydraulic multi-plate clutch. If a situation calls for it, the clutch redirects a majority of the torque input from the front wheels to the rear wheels.

High-tech Excellence from Audi: Chassis and Body
The chassis of the Audi TT RS builds on the cutting-edge foundation of the base Audi TT design. The four-link rear suspension, which handles longitudinal and lateral forces separately, plays a crucial role. The electromechanical steering is highly efficient and the power steering adjusts to the vehicle's speed. With aluminum in the front and sheet steel in the back, the body's innovative mixture of materials results in a well-balanced axle-load distribution, excellent crash safety, and the outstanding rigidity which lays the cornerstone for the car's precise handling.

The Face of Power: The Exterior
At just 4.20 meters (13.78 feet) in length, the vigorously compact Audi TT RS hints at its explosive potential from the very first glimpse. The front spoiler tapers downward into a splitter, reminiscent of a racing car. The large and squared air inlets have diamond-shaped inserts. And the high-gloss black single frame grille with a frame in matt aluminum look and the TT RS badge bear the same styling. The xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights notify faraway drivers that an Audi TT RS is approaching.

The Interior and Equipment Packages
The dynamic exterior of the Audi TT RS is matched by the interior. The leather multifunction sports steering wheel has an especially thick rim, is flat-bottomed, and is covered with perforated leather. Integrated in the instrument panel, the driver information system can display boost pressure and oil temperature as well as a lap timer for chronicling feats at the racetrack. The door handles consist of two slim strips - typical of Audi RS models. An automatic climate-control system and the concert sound system are standard, as are an electrohydraulic soft top and an electric wind deflector for the Audi TT RS Roadster.

Audi S5 Cabriolet, 2010

Audi S5 Cabriolet, 2010

The engine in the Audi S5 Cabriolet is a newly developed, supercharged, three-liter V6. The pressure in the 3.0 TFSI is generated by a mechanical supercharger - with impressive results: The power output tops out at 245 kW (333 hp), the torque between 2,900 and 5,300 rpm remains constant at a generous 440 Nm (324.53 lb-ft). The powerful thrust and the spontaneous, aggressive response make for a fascinating driving experience. The Audi S5 Cabriolet is catapulted in 5.6 seconds from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) and accelerates up to a preset top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). Yet at 9.6 liters per 100 km (24.5 US mpg), its fuel efficiency is highly impressive (preliminary values).
Standard equipment of the Audi S5 Cabriolet includes the servotronic, the seven-speed S tronic and the quattro drive system package. The sport differential is optional. A sport suspension keeps the body close to the road. The 18-inch cast aluminum wheels are equipped with 245/40 tires. The black brake calipers are emblazoned with S5 emblems. The acoustic top, xenon plus headlights, electrically adjustable sport seats with Alcantara leather upholstery, and a multifunction sport steering wheel are also standard equipment.

Audi A5 Cabriolet
Dynamic and wonderful to look at, the new Audi A5 Cabriolet is a real Audi, and an especially exciting one at that. The four-seater with the fabric top combines a sporty character with the fascination of open-top driving, refined comfort, and great everyday utility. Seven powerful engines, an agile suspension and a wide range of high-end options make the new Audi model the most attractive mid-range convertible. The top-of-the-line model of Audi's new family of convertibles is the Audi S5 Cabriolet. The engine of the S5 Cabriolet is the newly developed, supercharged three-liter V6 with gasoline direct injection. Prices start at EUR 37,300 for the 1.8 TFSI with 118 kW (160 hp) and six-speed manual transmission. Delivery of the first Audi A5 Cabriolet models will begin in the second quarter of 2009.
Like all open-top Audi models, the new Audi A5 Cabriolet too has a classic fabric top - which endows it with a striking silhouette of dynamic elegance. The lightweight softtop opens in 15 seconds - and closes in 17 seconds. The fully automatic open/close drive comes as standard. An acoustic top is optionally available, which reduces wind noise almost to the hardtop level.

When opened, the Audi A5 Cabriolet top folds down so effectively that very little trunk space is used up - leaving 320 liters (11.3 cu ft) of unused storage volume, clearly the best value in its field of competitors. The softtop compartment lowers itself automatically when the top is opened.
Equally useful is the fold-down rear seat backrest with the large pass-through between the luggage space and the interior, which increases the storage volume to a generous 750 liters (26.49 cu. ft.).
Automatic seat belt extenders round out the comfort in the interior. Neck-level heating is optionally available for the front seats. The optional leather seats are coated with a special layer to reduce solar heating. There is comfortable room for four persons. The refined ambiance combines with exemplary ergonomics to convey an atmosphere of sporty elegance. Ultra-high-strength steels and selective reinforcements of the body ensure maximal rigidity and crash safety.

Fascinating dynamics: Audi drive select
The perfect addition to this technology package is the Audi drive select vehicle dynamics system, which enables the driver to chose among three different engine maps controlling the characteristics of the fuel feed, the shifting points of the seven-speed S tronic and multitronic, and the mode of operation of the servotronic steering system.

Audi drive select is only available in combination with one or more of three additional technologies - the sport differential, the adaptive control for the shock absorbers, and dynamic steering. This is an additional high-tech solution: Its superposition gear varies the gear ratio as a function of the driving speed by up to 100 percent.
The new Audi A5 Cabriolet features a rich array of equipment, including 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, and an audio system with a CD player. One of the highlights among the optional equipment is the third-generation MMI operating system, which provides many attractive navigation and entertainment functions.
As the dynamic top-of-the-line model of the new production series, the Audi S5 Cabriolet occupies a very special position. Its three-liter TFSI - a V6 with turbocharger - unfolds its 245 kW (333 hp) and 440 Nm (324.53 lb-ft) of torque impressively: It responds tenaciously to the throttle and delivers excellent driving performance. The quattro drive, a sport suspension with 18-inch wheels and a number of special equipment details underscore the athletic power of the Audi S5 Cabriolet.

The exterior design
The Audi A5 Cabriolet combines Audi's progressive styling with the fascination of an open-top car. The long engine hood, the sharp lines, the sweep of the shoulder contour, the elegantly curved surfaces, the large wheels, the distinctive front end, and the expressive tail all interact to create a sculptural, sensuous whole. The Audi A5 Cabriolet is 4.63 meters (15.19 ft) long and 1.85 meters (6.07 ft) wide, but only 1.38 meters (4.53 ft) tall: the sportiest proportions in its class.
The styling of the front end is dominated by the single-frame grille, which is flanked by large air intakes. The exquisite design of the headlights makes them look like technical jewels. The daytime running lights of the optional xenon plus headlights consist of LEDs. An aluminum molding lends high gloss to the windshield frame.
The looks of the tail end are sharpened by horizontal lines, broad tail lights, straight tailpipes, and a distinctly colored diffuser insert. The trunk lid bears an unobtrusive spoiler lip. The xenon plus headlight option comes complete with LED taillights, which create a distinctive light pattern.

The convertible top
The fabric top with the large glass rear window fits smoothly into the design profile. This is one of several reasons why Audi preferred it to a folding steel roof. What's more, its construction is much lighter in weight, which reduces the overall weight of the Cabriolet and lowers its center of gravity. The outer skin of the top is available in a choice of four colors, the inside in three.
The softtop consists of three layers. The intermediate layer is a cushioning pad. In the optional acoustic top, which reduces wind noise almost to hardtop level, this is replaced by a foam layer up to 15 millimeters (0.59 in) in thickness. The acoustic top comes with a ceiling light for the rear seat - a solution usually only found in the topmost convertible luxury segment.
In both versions, a hydraulic pump and four operating cylinders that move the top are actuated when a pushbutton on the central console or on the optional remote access assistant is depressed. It takes 15 seconds to open the top, 17 seconds to close it. Both actions can also be actuated while driving at up to 50 km/h (31.07 mph) - which makes driving much more comfortable.

When opened, the top is retracted underneath a fixed cover, where it is folded down into an extremely compact shape. Its storage compartment, which automatically lowers itself into the trunk space, only takes up a few centimeters in height - and only 60 liters (2.12 cu ft) of the 380 liters (13.42 cu ft) of luggage space. The remaining 320 liters (11.3 cu ft) with the top open are by far the best value among comparable vehicles. What's more, the low position of the loading lip makes loading and unloading easier. The wind deflector, which is supplied as standard, can be stored in the spare-wheel well to save space.
A very convenient feature in the Audi A5 Cabriolet are the split folding rear seat backrests. They can be easily unlocked by actuating levers in the trunk and drop automatically onto the seat cushions. The standard pass-though is 70 centimeters (27.56 in) wide. The loading space behind the front seatback is 1.76 meters (69.29 in) long, providing a total storage volume of 750 liters (26.49 cu ft).

Audi TT GT4 Concept, 2010

Audi TT GT4 Concept, 2010

On the occasion of the DTM race in Shanghai, Audi presented the concept of a GT4 car based on the Audi TT. The TT, developed by the Technical Development and the Production divisions plus quattro GmbH, is intended to extend Audi's new modular customer sport program from 2012 forward.

With the production-based TT GT4, Audi wants to offer potential customers a base option for affordable motorsport. The vehicle's platform is a motorsport body with a roll-over cage, a safety-optimized fuel tank box and further modifications which will be identical for all future customer sport versions. The Audi TT is equipped with a TFSI engine delivering about 250 kW (340 hp). The front apron, rear apron and the rear wing stem from the production Audi TT RS. The hood, doors and trunk lid are made of CFRP and the windows of plastic. The TT is fitted with a S-tronic transmission with a differential lock, a modified production suspension with adjustable dampers, plus 9.5 x 18 inch light alloy wheels.

The Audi TT GT4 is planned to sell for about 120,000 euros. Audi is not only targeting Europe but also the Asian market. On the occasion of the DTM race in Shanghai the Audi TT is being launched in the Chinese market as well.

The five-time Le Mans winner Frank Biela did some demo laps in the new Audi TT on the street circuit in Shanghai. Other cars that could be seen in action in Shanghai as well were the SP4T version of the TT RS and the Audi R8 LMS.
