2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design

2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design
Oakley Design has created a new Lamborghini product. Based on Aventador LP700-4, Lamborghini LP760-2 Aventador is the newest product from Lamborghini that only 5 cars in production. Lamborghini has only just launched its new flagship supercar and Oakley Design has already come up with a tuning package for it. Called the Lamborghini Aventdor LP760-2, the car receives various engine and cosmetic revisions.

With a focus on 2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design appearance alone, one can see sporty look by adding a larger airbox, intake diameter titanium exhaust system and a new range of lighter and wider wheels. These additions only a glimpse of what happens under the 2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design hood. The 2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design so worked up to 253 pounds lighter than the standard model and ECU remap, 60 horsepower stronger. The V12 engine now delivers 760 horsepower and a superb standard 700 hp. Another impressive element of this 2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design package is that the force will be sent to the rear wheels. No word yet on how the extra 60 ponies and their means will affect the performance of this car, but expect a little better than a 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds when the plant model.

The Lamborghini Aventador, the successor to the MurciƩlago, has just begun deliveries to a few select customers. And while the car itself can be considered special and rare, there has not been a limited edition or performance model announced. But the Lamborghini tuning experts at Oakley Design already have a limited edition model planned, one that boasts rear-wheel drive, carbon fiber aerodynamics, and a 760 bhp engine. The new 2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design uses a state-of-the-art 6.5-liter V-12 engine positioned behind the driver to achieve unrivaled performance. Although the V-12 is rated at 690 bhp and 508 lb-ft. of torque stock, Oakley Design has set its sights on 760 bhp and 550 lb-ft. of torque. The power increase will come from a new titanium exhaust that saves over 66 lbs., a retuned ECU, bigger airbox, and larger diameter intake feed pipe. The new exhaust will also proudly wear the Oakley Design logo on the exhaust cover and burnt blue tips.
2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design
Oakley Design’s goals for the Lamborghini Aventador were to shed weight wherever possible without sacrificing comfort, and to create a truly unique sports car. To do this, Oakley Design is working to remove the front differential, drive shafts, and other drivetrain parts that send power to the front wheels, thus saving approximately 187 lbs. (85 kg), and creating a rear-wheel drive monster.
2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design
Despite having a carbon-fibre bodyshell, the 2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design has many gloss black plastic parts. The two plastic front bumper and two rear bumper trims will be extended to aid cooling, as will the side air intakes located behind the doors. The new parts will be made from carbon-fibre, as will the new side sills with their slightly larger vents. The sills can either be colour-coded to the bodywork, with the air vents picked out in carbon, or left completely in exposed carbon finish for a more aggressive look. Developed in the MIRA wind tunnel, the rear Gurney flap, matched to a deeper rear diffuser with longer, deeper boundary layer fences, helps high-speed stability and grip on both two and four-wheel-drive versions. The carbon-fibre door mirrors and engine bay covers are direct replacement parts. Along with the black carbon roof, they give this very special Aventador its distinctive Oakley Design look.
2012 Lamborghini Sport Cars Aventador LP760-2 Oakley Design
In addition to the drivetrain upgrades, Oakley Design is working with HRE to create a new ultra-light, forged alloy wheel is being developed in conjunction with our partner HRE. Weighing around 4.0kg less per corner than the factory alloys, this is the distinctive Oakley Design P40 design used on our Ferrari and Porsche based models, and utilize the factory 255/35ZR19 front and 355/30ZR20 rear Pirelli PZero tires. At the front, Oakley has increased the wheel width from 9.0J to 9.5 inches at the front and 12.0J to 13.0J at the rear for even greater grip. Although the majority of owners will purchase just the carbon-fibre parts, sports exhaust and re-mapped ECU, a few hard-core clients are interested in a rear-drive only option for further weight saving and increased performance.

2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45

2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
The Ferrari sports car was build for Peter Kalikow, a Ferrari collector from New York, the rich people, who is a real estate entrepreneur, to celebrate that he’s a Ferrari client and driver for 45 years. The Ferrari Superamerica 45 is styled internally by Ferrari Design and engineered and built in-house. The sports car features an unique roof system which opens the roof-top by fliping it backwards.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
The Special Projects Ferrari Superamerica 45 is a unique one-off model. The 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 model was built in-house and styled internally by Ferrari Design, making its public debut on the 20th of May at the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza. When open, the roof is housed by an entirely new boot, while the design appears to be bespoke, featuring a carbon-fiber rotating hard-top which integrates a rear screen.
The 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 is built around an aluminium spaceframe chassis similar to the limited production 599 Aperta roadster. Power comes from the very potent V12 also used in the 599 GTO. Based on the engine originally used for the Enzo, it produces well over 650 bhp. This is transferred to the rear wheels by a semi-automatic gearbox, which is operated by paddles behind the steering wheel. Carbon ceramic discs ensure that the 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 can slow down as fast as it can accelerate.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
Like 400 Superamerica Cabriolet, the new 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 is finished in a lovely metallic blue paint, which is further accentuated by blue carbon-fibre sections and polished aluminium A-pillars and wing mirrors. Additional vents in the front wings and a spoiler on the tail set the car further apart from the 'standard' 599. The latter was a necessary addition to create sufficient downforce and stability at high speeds. The interior is refined by a carefully selected combination of Cuoio leather trim and Blu Scuro carbon fiber details. The driver will also enjoy a latest-generation touch-screen infotainment system.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
While the 2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45 did make its public debut at Villa d'Este, it was not yet officially delivered. Ever the perfectionist, Kalikow pointed out several details that still need changing before the car is really 'ready'. Among them were the lining on the roof, which will most likely be changed to the same tan leather as the rest of the interior and the door handles, which still need to receive the Kalikow's initials as previously seen on the 612 Kappa.
2011 Ferrari Sport Cars Superamerica 45
When Kalikow does take official delivery of the car, he intends to use it extensively on the road, like he does with a vast majority of the fabulous Ferraris in his collection. We, particularly, can't wait to see the Superamerica 45 next to the 400 Superamerica Cabriolet that inspired this project.

Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi

Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The name “Pavesi” is also shared with an Italian go-kart engine manufacturer. Dubbed 612 GTS Pavesi, the latest product from Ferari's own customization program is named after an Italian manufacturer of go-kart engines, Luxist reports. Until Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari launches the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti at next year’s Geneva Auto Show, we’ll just have to settle with a one-off version of the model. Ferrari builts exclusive modification supercar 612 Scaglietti for one of its customers, which was called GTS Pavesi and there is only single copy.
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
This particular 612 was allegedly done by Ferrari’s in-house customization program, and also sports cars a Tubi exhaust and an apparent output of 550 horsepower, a custom exhaust system and some extra 20 horsepower for a total of 550 hp. A special version of a supercar has a new roof with two removable sections that turn the car into the likeness of Targ, two-tone paint finishes, another front bumper, a different exhaust system, as well as boosted from 540 to 560 horsepower 5.7-liter gasoline engine dvenadtsatitsilindrovy. Standard Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is capable to accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in four seconds and reach a top speed of 315 kilometers per hour. Dynamic characteristics modification Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi not yet known.
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The power of the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi comes from a 5.7-liter V12 engine that develops 550 hp (410 kW) and 443 lb ft (600 Nm) of torque, which is more than standard. We bet the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time and the top speed have also been improved on the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi in comparison to the standard car. This unique Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi supercar also comes with a pair of removable carbon-fiber roof panels up top, a revised front end and a unique two-tone silver and black paint scheme.
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The 612 Scaglietii has entered in the Ferrari stable in 2004, designed to replace the 456 M. The name of the 612 one-off is taken after the home town of one of Ferrari's coach builders, Carozzeria Scaglietti. The 612 stood out from other Ferraris thanks to the large side scallops and the headlights that are reminiscent of the 375 MM. The engine used on the 612 is an 5.7 V12 that was also used on the 575 Maranello, the Tipo F133E that produces 533 hp and is able to propel the car to a top speed 315 km/h (199 mph).
Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi
The name “Pavesi” is also shared with an Italian go-kart engine manufacturer, giving a clue to who the owner may be. The carbon fiber roof must have cost a lot to engineer and install, and only an industrial magnate would have the budget for such an expenditure. No official details of the Ferrari Sport Cars Ferrari 612 GTS Pavesi have been released and probably never will.

2020 Aston Martin Twenty Twenty Sports Car concept designed by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro of ItalDesign (2001)

2020 Aston Martin Twenty Twenty Sports Car concept

Geneva is one of the world's great auto shows, if for no other reason than it's the place where Italy's design houses and coachbuilders -carrozzerie- annually roll out their latest concept cars. This year, Aston Martin previewed the production version its voluptuous Vanquish (covered elsewhere in this issue). But that wasn't the only Aston on the show floor. The Aston Martin Twenty Twenty concept from 2001 was designed by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro of ItalDesign.
2020 Aston Martin Twenty Twenty Sports Car concept

The fully-functioning concept car was intended as a vision for a convertible Aston Martin sports car for the year 2020. Italdesign sprung this amazing car on the unsuspecting visitors to the 2001 Geneva Salon L'Auto. This startling car, based on an early production DB7 Vantage, has a body shape made of exposed extruded aluminium structural elements; body panels made from plastic and carbon fibre are fitted onto it. Thankfully Aston Martin’s current styling trend is headed in a completely different direction to the Twenty Twenty concept.
The brushed aluminium highlighting lines which adorn the Aston Martin Twenty Twenty are an original design feature. However their overuse (especially around the front) gives the concept an unusual, almost comical appearance from some angles. The grille surround almost looks like lipstick.

The Twenty Twenty is powered by front mounted, uprated version of the 6 litre V12 from the DB7 Vantage, said to produce 500bhp - visible through a grilled fairing on the bonnet. Initially it appears to be a strict 2 seater, although the rear bulkhead can be removed to provide seating for two children. The rear of the Aston Martin Twenty Twenty (from the doors back) is more appealing with more conservative use of bare aluminium. The soft top is stored in its own special housing that can be slotted into position between the roll-bar and the windscreen, 'Targa' fashion. Notice the fantastic door hinges - derived from the classic Aston wing vent, are both decorative and functional elements.

Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aston Martin previously co-operated in 1961, when Carrozzeria Bertone worked on the two-seater DB4GT Jet coupe prototype. And like the original 'Jet' car, the 2020 is destined to remain unique. Aston Martin are believed to have thought the 2020 'interesting', but no plans were ever made even for limited production. As the Twenty Twenty isn't an official Aston Martin design project, don't look for any sort of production version. What about the name? Simple: It's the term commonly used to describe perfect vision. And the Giugiaros clearly have good eyes.

In March 2004, I received an e-mail claiming the 2020 was for sale, but I have been unable to find any reference to this anywhere. But the car was seen for the first time in the UK at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, June 2005.
