Honda is planning to change the image of its North American brand 2011 Acura NSX, and sports coupe should be present in the line range. However, neither of which specific terms of occurrence news, information unavailable 2011 Acura NSX.

2011 Acura TL Reviews

2011 Acura TL
The new 2011 Acura TL offers more in terms of the safety features which are both standardized and innovative, apart from the information and entertainment features.
The fuel economy of the vehicle is enhanced by the introduction of a transmission system (manual) that conserves fuel consumption. The advantageous feature of 2011 Acura TL are not just one but many. The impressive fuel economy rating contributed to by the unique engine chosen & the transmission system(manual) combine together to give the vehicle an impressive fuel economy rating.

Take the 2011 Acura TL, a midsize luxury sedan that's difficult to fault. The sport-oriented TL SH-AWD, meanwhile, can keep pace around corners with sport sedans like the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Infiniti G37 thanks to its high-tech Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (hence SH-AWD).

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
The 2011 Acura TL is a midsize luxury sedan available in TL and TL SH-AWD trim levels. The TL SH-AWD adds a more powerful engine, all-wheel drive, more aggressive suspension and steering tuning, upgraded brakes, 18-inch wheels, deep-bolstered front seats and contrasting leather stitching.
This package can also be augmented with 18-inch wheels on the base TL or 19-inch wheels on the SH-AWD.
The base model 2011 Acura TL is front-wheel drive and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 280 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. In Edmunds performance testing, the base TL went from zero to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds -- on par with most base model luxury sedans. The TL SH-AWD model features Acura's Super Handling-All-Wheel-Drive system, which transfers different levels of power to individual wheels to maximize traction and grip through turns and in inclement weather.

Safety
Every 2011 Acura TL comes with antilock disc brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and active front restraints. The TL SH-AWD used its upgraded brakes to record a stop in a very impressive 106 feet.
The Acura TL has not been rated using the government's new, more strenuous 2011 crash testing procedure. The 2011 Acura TL's interior features a more contemporary design language than some of its competitors.

Driving Impressions
The base TL should appeal to drivers with more comfort and luxury in mind.
While the 2011 Acura TL lays aim at some of the market's top sport sedans, it has very modest roots—essentially, building on the V-6 Honda Accord. That said, the TL is up to the task; it's a surprisingly well-rounded luxury sedan, with host of advanced tech features, and in top SH-AWD trim morphs into a complete and compelling sport sedan.

In addition to the automatic, you can get a manual on the TL SH-AWD. Even on rough-surfaced, rain-slicked pavement, we found the TL almost impossible to fluster.
When it comes to showcasing a wide range of high-tech features, the 2011 Acura TL is at its best. Interfacing easily with a host of personal electronics, even the base TL features a standard USB iPod/MP3 interface, an eight-speaker audio system, and a crisp, high-resolution center-mounted display for controlling the infotainment system.

2011 Acura RL Overviews

The Acura RL has been the flagship model from the manufacturers and there is much to look forward to here knowing how the series has developed over time. The 2011 Acura RL model is given a face-lift to introduce the series’ latest design concept.

Needless to say, the Acura lineup has been deprived of the posh appeal that luxury vehicles are known for delivering.

The standard model comes with 3.7-liter V6 engine with a maximum of 300 horsepower. 2011 Acrua RL will release sometime mid 2011
On paper, the 2011 Acura RL seems like a pretty desirable midsize luxury sedan. Acura has also replaced the RL's previous five-speed automatic with a new six-speed unit. Handling also remains a praiseworthy RL attribute, thanks to the car's advanced Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system, which can apportion torque to individual wheels to improve both traction and handling balance.

Standard equipment on the RL includes 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic xenon headlights, a sunroof, keyless ignition/entry, heated 10-way power front seats with driver memory functions, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear-seat climate controls, an auto-dimming mirror, a power rear sunshade and manual rear side sunshades.

Also standard are Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, voice commands for the audio and climate systems and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system with a six-CD changer, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB/iPod audio interface.

The RL with the Advance package adds adaptive cruise control and the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), along with power-folding side mirrors.

Every 2010 Acura RL comes with Acura's "Super-Handling" all-wheel-drive system that automatically apportions power to the optimum wheels for the best traction and handling, reacting to road conditions to deliver a superior all-weather automobile.

Powering the 2011 Acura RL is a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 300 hp and 271 pound-feet of torque. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 17 mpg city/24 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined.
Standard safety features for the Acura RL include antilock disc brakes with brake assist, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, active front head restraints and a stability-control system. In Edmunds brake testing, the RL delivered a lackluster 131-foot stop from 60 mph. The 2011 Acura RL features an attractive and well-built interior that is comparable to most other luxury sedans.

The standard 3.4-liter V6 engine that comes with the 2011 Acura RL gets 300 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.

The interior of the 2011 Acura RL is truly exceptional. Voice controls come standard with all trims of the 2011 RL, producing a futuristic and exciting ambiance.
With so many new luxury sedans boasting great fuel economy ratings, the 2011 Acura RL's stand out like sore thumbs. If you're concerned about gas mileage, you may want to rethink the possibility of the 2011 RL. Furthermore, this sedan is sorely lacking in the cargo capacity department.

Acura TSX Sedan, 2011

Acura TSX Sedan, 2011

Despite the Acura TSX sedan being a top choice in its class, Acura has not rested on its laurels, as a host of major updates have been made for 2011. Topping the list, the Acura TSX sedan receives a freshened exterior look along with a wide array of new features and technology - with particular attention being paid to further improving quality and cabin quietness. In addition, significant improvements have been made to both the 2.4L I-4 and 3.5L V-6 engines that yield improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions and longer engine life.

Acura's philosophy of smart luxury is well evidenced by the combination of great looks, a luxury interior available with a wide variety of technology features, and excellent safety - all for an exceptional level of value. Thanks to this great mix of attributes, the Acura TSX has the largest percentage of buyers under 30 among all luxury sedans and has remained the volume leader within its segment according to Global Insight.

Exterior
On the outside, the 2011 TSX receives a new front fascia, revised chin spoiler, new fog light garnish assembly and an updated grill. The updated front end teams with new underbody panels to improve aerodynamics. At the rear, revised taillights and an updated rear license plate garnish add more visual appeal for the Acura TSX.

The standard 17-inch 5-spoke aluminum wheels for the 2.4L 4-cylinder model are more cutting edge as they now incorporate a machined lip on the face of the spokes, and the split 5-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels remain standard with the 3.5L V-6 model.

Interior
Inside, the 2011 Acura TSX receives a host of visual upgrades in the form of revised styling for the center console, darker trim pieces, brightly finished door handles, an updated parking brake handle and new garnishes for the steering wheel. In addition, new is contrasting-color stitching for the leather seats, door armrests and center console. Rear seat occupants will enjoy added comfort thanks to the addition of heating/cooling vents mounted at the rear of the center console.

Acura is known for its outstanding array of user relevant technology, and the 2011 Acura TSX further expands on this concept. New for 2011, the TSX with available Technology Package now includes an LED backlit full VGA navigation screen (that generates 400-percent better resolution than before), improved navigation system functions (faster performance, improved search ability and expanded map coverage), Song By Voice™ (SBV) user interface, a 60-gigabyte hard disk drive (HDD) system, and the ability to download 15-gigabytes of personal music to the HDD system. Now with the ability to store more than 3,500 songs, there is no longer a need to carry around bulky CDs.

Acura has always put much emphasis on building an interior that is exceptionally quiet, and for 2011 the Acura TSX has even greater cabin serenity thanks to items such as a new acoustic glass front windshield, even thicker side glass, increased use of sound-deadening insulation, improved floor mats and new underfloor covers.

Drivetrain
The 2011 Acura TSX sedan remains fun to drive thanks to two powerful engine choices with class-leading fuel efficiency; a spirited 2.4L inline four cylinder engine and a torquey 3.5L V-6. For 2011, both engines receive numerous improvements to reduce internal operating friction which help improve fuel economy, lower carbon dioxide (CO2) output and increase engine life.

As a result, the friction reduction measures are a significant element to improve fuel economy as evidenced by improvements in city, highway and combined fuel economy for both the 2.4L I-4 and the 3.5L V-6.

New automatic transmission programming helps maximize the engine output by allowing for Shift Hold Control during cornering along with "smart shift" functionality that allows for semi-manual operation when in Drive - not just when in Sport Mode. In addition, the Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission now features a fluid warmer that helps improve shift quality, transmission durability and engine fuel economy for TSX owners who live in colder climates.

2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon

Acura diversifies the TSX line by adding the 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon, which will appeal to shoppers looking for luxurious utility.

The 2011 Acura TSX hasn’t changed much for the 2011 model year, but 2011 does bring one surprise: the 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon. The Sport Wagon is all about luxurious utility. Test drivers haven’t driven the Acura TSX Sport Wagon, but we do know it has the base sedan’s less powerful four-cylinder engine. The "Acura TSX" Sport Wagon may lack power, but Acura’s target audience -- small families who want to mesh luxury and utility -- should be pleased with this option.

Long before the controversial 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour was announced, we’d been asking Honda to bring us its sexy Euro-only Accord Tourer wagon. While little information has been released on the "Acura TSX Sport Wagon", Acura promises that the wagon will feature balanced performance, advanced technology, and bold styling. Translation: expect it to be slow and look just like the already-bold Accord Tourer (no surprise; the Euro Accord sedan is sold here as the TSX) with Acura’s beak-style grille, and likely housing the same 201-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the base sedan.

It’s a wagon that’s a few thousand cheaper than the TSX sedan. Pricing isn’t available for the TSX wagon, but it will likely cost more than $30,000 because wagons are usually more expensive than their sedan counterparts--The "2011 Acura TSX" is available as a sedan and Sport Wagon.

Wagons never went away, and our appetite for SUV-ish caricatures guarantees they're not making any big sales comeback. Up the 101, down the 101, curling around Lucas Valley Road and Nicasio Valley Road, the Acura TSX Sport Wagon didn't distance itself from the TSX sedan much at all. The Wagon's trim body comes from Europe, and on looks alone, it's the most pleasing Acura. It's a European, of course, and even if it's a Honda Accord sold over there, the TSX Sport Wagon lifts nicely with a form-first taper with almost Subaru slimness.

2011 Acura MDX Reviews

The latest Acura MDX features a new 3.7-liter SOHC VTEC V6 with 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, which Acura says now features more heavy-duty parts for extra longevity. The MDX is offered in five trim levels starting with the base model and moving up through the Technology, Technology and Entertainment, Advance and Advance and Entertainment groupings. The Entertainment package, which is offered with either the Technology or Advance groups, includes a rear seat monitor, DVD player, wireless headphones and heated rear seats.

Acura's Real Time Weather and Traffic Rerouting features are newly available with the optional navigation system.
The 2011 Acura MDX SUV features a new V6 engine and the versatility and performance that one expects from Honda’s luxury brand.

The new throttle system and the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) provide excellent acceleration and vehicle control. Entertainment features include the Acura Premium Audio System with seven speakers delivering 253 watts of power. Other audio systems include a 6-disc CD player and speed-specific volume control that compensates for audio gain.

The steering wheel is tilt adjustable with power steering and cruise control. The automatic climate control system links to the Acura Navigation System’s GPS receiver to provide continuous information on the orientation of the vehicle relative to the sun.
Honda has not confirmed any changes under the hood for the 2011 Acura MDX. Should the MDX offer a diesel option for 2011, buyers can expect radically improved fuel economy.
The 2011 Acura MDX ranks 2 out of 17 Luxury Midsize SUVs. The Acura MDX had strong performance, a high-tech interior and – the holy of holies – space for three car seats, with LATCH connecters and all, in the back seat.

The Acura MDX should appeal to a wide range of people. Consumer Guide says the MDX “has contemporary styling and thoughtful features." Acura MDX" has a highly desirable blend of luxury, performance, and convenience.” On the road, the Acura MDX shines with its powerful V6 engine. Acrua’s Super-Handling All-Wheel drive system is standard, and the MDX does well in crash tests.

Inside, reviewers like the MDX’s comfortable first and second row seats. It has a standard third row seat and a lower price tag than the MDX.

The Acura MDX has a standard V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is also standard.

2011 Acura RDX Reviews

The big news for the 2011 model year is the addition of a front-wheel drive RDX model– up until now the Acura RDX has only been available with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. The AWD model remains unchanged at 17/20mpg city/highway.

After a small facelift in 2010, the Acura RDX is due for a major design overhaul in 2011. Closer to model year 2012, an RDX with a turbodiesel engine may also debut. The new RDX’s release is set for late fall 2010. Read on for our initial car review of the 2011 Acura RDX.

Acura's cute 'ute gets a mid-cycle facelift to bring it in-line with the rest of the Acura line-up – meaning if you haven't warmed up to Acura's shield grille you might want to look elsewhere--The only mechanical change for 2010 is the addition of a front-wheel drive model to the RDX range.

Front-wheel drive is still standard, but Acura’s topnotch Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive - SH-AWD - is also available. When you throw in an exquisite interior and ample cargo space, the 2011 Acura RDX is a bona fide winner. What we know about the 2011 Acura RDX’s specs is summarized below.
Pricing: the 2011 RDX should start at about $33,000 MSRP, but Acura has not released retail or invoice pricing data yet

Fuel economy: traditional RDX should have city/highway car ratings comparable to that of current model (19/24 mpg). No information available yet on the hybrid RDX.
Acceleration: all-wheel drive 2010 RDX completes 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds; 2011 model will likely have similar numbers

Car safety features: brake assist, anti-lock brakes, front-seat side airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, active front head restraints, and side-curtain airbags
Acura hasn’t said much about the new styling of the "2011 RDX", but you can expect major changes--The shining star of the 2011 Acura RDX is, undoubtedly, its first-rate engine. Braking and handling will probably also remain the same, as Acura just revised the brakes on the RDX in 2010.

Acura RDX, 2010

Acura RDX, 2010

The Acura RDX continues to be the compact luxury SUV of choice for drivers with energetic lifestyles who need a responsive and sporty vehicle with plenty of utility and leading edge styling. 2010 marks the first time ever that the Acura RDX is available with a two-wheel-drive option, which is appealing to customers who live in warmer climates and who don't need the all-weather capability all-wheel drive offers. Due to the decreased weight of the two wheel drive model, the Acura RDX gets improved fuel economy over the SH-AWD model- resulting in an improvement of 2 mpg in the city and on the highway.

Externally, the 2010 RDX receives numerous changes resulting in a more aggressive, sporty appearance. Exterior changes include redesigned 18-inch diameter aluminum-alloy wheels, bold new front and rear bumper fascias, Acura's signature design front grille, revised headlights and taillights, new exhaust tips and satin trim accents.

Powertrain

The Acura RDX is equipped with a turbocharged 2.3-liter DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder engine incorporating computer-controlled "intelligent" i-VTEC intake/exhaust valve actuation that delivers enhanced performance across a broad powerband. The heart of the Acura RDX's performance is its Variable Flow Turbocharger (VFT) that delivers an unusually broad powerband with virtually no lag in throttle response. The turbocharger works in concert with i-VTEC to deliver outstanding acceleration and efficiency while driving at a variety of speeds.

For 2010, the turbo system makes use of a new inlet pipe that is thicker to reduce noise during high boost situations and the Acura RDX incorporate a dual-stage radiator fan to further reduce cabin noise.

Rated output for the 2.3L I-4 engine is 240 horsepower at 6,000 rpm with 260 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. The Acura RDX has an EPA city/highway fuel economy rating of 19/24 mpg (RDX) and 17/22 mpg (RDX SH-AWD™) along with meeting EPA TIER 2 - BIN 5 and CARB LEV-2 ULEV exhaust emissions standards.

Chassis
Acura's exclusive Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system is available on the Acura RDX, helping it to maximize available traction while improving handling balance and responsiveness in a variety of weather conditions. SH-AWD distributes optimum torque not only between the front and rear axles, but also between the left and right rear wheels while also being able to overdrive the rear wheels. The system's direct yaw control utilizes torque vectoring to help reduce understeer thus enhancing steering accuracy and adding to total cornering ability.

New for 2010 is a two-wheel-drive version of the Acura RDX that offers a lighter vehicle weight, improved fuel economy and a lower purchase price. The 2WD RDX employs a front wheel drive drivetrain design, but otherwise retains the same exceptional chassis and driving dynamics for which the Acura RDX is known.

For 2010, changes to the brake booster and servo deliver even better brake pedal feel along with less initial brake "grabbiness". In addition, the brake system makes use of revised rear brake pad actuation that delivers less drag and longer pad life; also added to the mix are Geomet-coated brake rotors for improved looks and added corrosion protection.

Exterior

Acura RDX exterior styling further emphasizes the crossover SUV's sporty athleticism. Large wheel arches, aggressively raked body sides, steeply raked windscreen and a short rear overhang generate an Acura RDX with a taut and muscular presence. A unique rear hatch allows for a smooth transition of the body to the rear bumper- a transition that delivers a more custom look as well as eases loading and unloading of cargo.

For 2010, the Acura RDX gets a new front fascia, Acura's signature front grille, a hood with a new front edge design and updated HID headlights that are now controlled by a standard Auto on/off function. Looking at the side of the 2010 Acura RDX you'll notice new wheels that team with the vehicle's wide track (61.9-in. front, 62.6-in. rear) to deliver excellent handling. At the rear, a much more aggressive bumper fascia, rectangular exhaust finishers, revised taillights and satin finish trim give the 2010 Acura RDX a fresh new look.

Redesigned high-intensity discharge (HID) low beam headlights command the corners of the Acura RDX's front fascia and fenders. The headlight's new design incorporates a "smoke style" chrome plating treatment and complements the angular pattern set by the Acura grille. Front bumper integrated fog lamps are standard on the Acura RDX, and for 2010 they are mounted within separate side grilles located at the corners of the new front fascia. Both front and rear wheel arches are bold and broad, and new 18x7.5-inch 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels further add to the dramatic appearance of the Acura RDX.

Interior
Inside every Acura RDX, leather trimmed front seats deliver a high outward visibility "eye point" that provides a confident field of view. The 3-passenger rear seat has a 60/40 split-folding capability and, when folded flat, significantly expands the load area and increases the total cargo volume to 60.6 cubic feet.

Multiple storage compartments are positioned throughout the interior, including a lockable dual-level center console (that is large enough to accommodate a briefcase) conveniently located between the front seats. For 2010, two revised interior color themes are available: a darker, richer Ebony and; a lighter, more premium looking Taupe.

Acura interior design has always made intuitive functionality a priority, and in the 2010 Acura RDX all important systems and controls now feature even more intuitive button placement along with easier-to-read markings.

For 2010, the Technology Package adds even more capability, and integrates seamlessly into the Acura RDX's performance-oriented driving environment. The Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition™ has a revised 8-inch screen, improved navigation system feature use and content, and a faster reacting and more useful rear view camera. Non-Technology Package RDX's now get a standard rear view camera system with a viewing screen that is integrated into the auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Safety and Security

The Acura RDX's technology leadership also extends to safety, where a long list of advanced features, including an Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure allow the Acura RDX to achieve NHTSA's top rating (5-Stars) for both frontal and side impact crash tests.

The ACE body structure employs a network of interconnected front frame structures that work to absorb and redirect collision forces away from the passenger cabin while helping improve crash compatibility with vehicles of different sizes in a frontal collision. A special frame member located below the Acura RDX's front bumper is designed to engage the front bumper of a lower vehicle, allowing the bumper systems of both vehicles to attenuate crash energy more efficiently.

In addition, a specially engineered hood, collapsible hood hinges, breakaway wiper pivots and other features help reduce the chance of pedestrian injury in the event of a collision with the vehicle.

Inside, the Acura RDX has a full complement of passive safety features. Key technologies include the latest generation of dual-stage, multiple-threshold airbags for the driver and front passenger, plus side airbags for the driver and front passenger along with side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor for all outboard occupants. The front passenger's side airbag features an Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS) to prevent airbag deployment if a child or small-stature adult leans into the deployment path. LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) child seat mounting systems allow the quick and secure installation of a child seats.
