2011 Ford Escape Hybrid Compact SUVs Reviews

Ford Escape Hybrid
The 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid blends hauling and load capacity, substantial ground clearance, and truck-like upright styling with a remarkably sophisticated hybrid powertrain that delivers 34 mpg city, 31 mpg highway.

Changes to the 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid are relatively minor. Ford's MyKey system is now standard on all models.

The Ford Escape Hybrid has been around for five years now. The Escape is well equipped with some cool technological features, including Ford's Sync voice-activated multimedia system and an automated parallel-parking feature.

The Ford Escape Hybrid is not without its faults, however. Traditional gasoline-powered models like the Chevrolet Equinox, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are better vehicles overall than the Escape and still get decent fuel economy. The 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid is available in two trim levels: base and Limited. Upgrading to the Escape Hybrid Limited adds chrome exterior accents, a sunroof, rear parking assist, a rearview camera with a display located in the rearview mirror, piano-black interior treatments, leather upholstery, heated front seats and mirrors and multicolor ambient lighting.

Options include the sunroof (base model only) and a voice-operated navigation system that includes a hybrid energy flow/fuel-consumption display and a premium seven-speaker audio system that includes digital music storage, Sirius Travel Link and new HD radio capability. The 2011 Escape Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine as well as a battery-powered electric motor; combined they produce 177 horsepower. EPA estimates for fuel economy put the front-wheel-drive Escape Hybrid at the top of the hybrid SUV category with 34 mpg city/31 mpg highway and 32 mpg in combined driving.

The 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid comes standard with antilock brakes (front disc, rear drum), stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags with rollover sensors. Ford's programmable MyKey system allows parents to specify maximum speed limits and stereo volumes for their teenage drivers.

In government crash testing, the 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid scored a perfect five out of five stars for all occupants in both frontal and side impacts. The 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid features an attractive interior dressed up with soft-touch materials.

While some hybrid models have developed a reputation for sluggish performance, the 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid actually doesn't feel that different from its V6-powered cousins.

The 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid has one thing going for it the competition can't match -- it's the only compact hybrid SUV on the market. The Escape gets a combined fuel economy rating of around 30 mpg, which breaks down to 30 city and 27 highway. All safety bells and whistle are up to par, with standard dual-stage front airbags, seat-mounted bags on the side, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control and anti-lock brakes. With a three-year / 36,000 mile basic warranty and a five-year / 60,000 mile powertrain warranty (with options for roadside assistance), most people feel more than secure behind the wheel of a hybrid Escape.

2011 Ford E-350 Super Duty Vans

2011 Ford E-350 Super Duty
The 2011 Ford E-350 Super Duty is the largest and heaviest-rated of full sized Ford Vans. The new 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 (390 horsepower and 735 lb-ft of torque) made Super Duty the first production pickup to surpass that 700 marker. Both engines come with a new six-speed automatic transmission.

Towing owners will appreciate the optional under-box fifth-wheel hitch platform and updated integrated trailer brake controller. The 2011 Ford Super Duty comes in four trim levels, three cab sizes and two box sizes (6.75 feet, 8 feet), virtually all in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The least expensive Super Duty, a regular cab, long box two-wheel drive XL is $28,020 and the most expensive is the F-450 King Ranch Crew Cab long box diesel, about twice that.
The King Ranch ($45,715) for F-250 Crew Cab 2WD) adds two-tone paint including most trim pieces, driver memory package, heated/cooled power front seats, unique forged alloy wheels, rearview camera, and Chaparral-leather for the steering wheel, four captain's chairs and both center consoles.

Safety equipment includes electronic stability control, trailer sway control, and hill-descent control, antilock brakes, SOS post-crash alert, dual front airbags, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, adjustable height outboard belt anchors, child-seat LATCH anchors, three rear seat headrests on Crew Cab and a passenger airbag deactivation switch on regular and SuperCabs.
The doors remain unchanged, the box sides are mildly modified and have a larger fuel door for the diesel models' additional diesel exhaust fluid fill. Wheels range from 17 to 20 inches in diameter, all of aluminum except the base 17-inch steel wheels.

The F-450 model is a crew-cab, long-box-only truck that has bucked trends and downsized slightly. The "Ford Super Duty" is the largest mass-market pickup truck you can get, offered in the widest array of configurations and most of the highest ratings that "pickup truck" bragging wars often revert to.--'Ford' has long been known for their trucks and vans. Ford still makes as solid and reliable a truck or van as anyone in the market.

It has standard 16-inch steel wheels, and a "4-speed automatic transmission". The cargo model has two bucket seats in the front. The E-350 has anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and side front airbags.

The Ford E-350 is a heavy duty, unpretentious van that is reliable and is great for transporting cargo or passengers. The ride is typical Ford van: it’s big and built for heavy duty use, and the suspension and acceleration reflect that. Virtually all of the negative feedback is the result of the "E-350" being a big, heavy duty vehicle. The Ford E-350 is a large van designed to carry large loads. It is solid, has tons of space, and is a great choice for a heavy duty work van. If you want a nice, sporty commuting van, buy a minivan.

Available in regular and extended lengths, the 350 Super Duty van has a maximum gross vehicle weight rating of 9,500 pounds. Single- and dual-rear-wheel trims are available.--The Ford E-350 passenger wagon can seat seven, eight, 11 or 12 people; extended-length vans seat 11, 14 or 15 occupants

2011 Mustang GT 5.0.

2011 Mustang GT 5.0.
2011 Ford Mustang GT.Furthermore, fuel economy is claimed to be as high as 25 mpg on the highway and 17 mpg in the city for the 6-speed automatic, while the 6-speed manual should return 24 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg in the city.

Key elements of the new 5.0-liter mill is Ford’s Ti-VCT cam-torque-actuated variable camshaft timing system and all-aluminum four-valve-per-cylinder engine design, plus specially designed tubular exhaust headers.

Other changes for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT include specially tuned electric power steering, 11.5-inch front and 11.8-inch rear vented disc brakes, and an enhanced suspension featuring an improved rear lower control arm and stiffened rear stabilizer bushings. The obvious test: a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0.

Back in the early 1980s, when my pre-license self lusted after both cars, the Mustang wasn’t as sexy as the Camaro. This driving position detracts from the car’s perceived sportiness, but greatly aids forward visibility and shrinks the car’s perceived size. In the past the Mustang has sometimes had a more usable rear seat than the Camaro. The Ford’s trunk is a little larger, though,

I frankly don’t care which car is quickest in the quarter. As Baruth attested, big buck German V8s have little or nothing on this powerplant. Ford designed the variable intake and valvetrain for a broad powerband. Compared to the Camaro, the rush starts lower and runs higher—there are nearly another 1,000 rpm between the torque peak and the power peak. The Mustang’s lower curb weight—3,605 vs. 3,860 lbs.—contributes.

In a severe challenge to logic, Ford has installed a first-rate variable-everything DOHC V8 into a car with a live rear axle. Ford claims they ditched the independent rear suspension with which the platform was originally endowed (in Lincoln LS form) for cost reasons. But this is a $35,000+ car. Mustang buyers are apparently willing and able to spend $495 for shiny wheels. I drive on Michigan roads. One caveat: I drove a Mustang with the base, 18-inch wheels (and yet also with the optional 3.73 rear end). The standard brakes are sufficient for off-track driving in the flatlands. Even with the live axle, the Mustang does have some clear advantages over the Camaro in the handling department. It’s a slightly smaller car, and between the driving position and this steering feels like a much smaller car. The Mustang doesn’t ride as smoothly as the Camaro, but it’s still far from punishing. If you lean the same way, then you’ll prefer the Mustang over the Camaro. Remember Ginger smiling? Bonus: aside from the rear suspension, the Mustang is also much more refined.

To ensure the Mustang doesn’t lose out in the latest round of the pony car wars, Ford is reportedly readying a new powerplant for the 2011 car.
With the Dodge Challenger R/T kicking out 372 horsepower and the Chevrolet Camaro SS producing upwards of 422 horsepower, the 2010 Mustang GT is a bit underpowered at only 315.
Code-named ‘coyote’, the new 32-valve powerplant will be shared with the 2011 Ford F-150.

2011 Ford Taurus SHO Review

2011 Ford Taurus SHO
2011 Ford Taurus SHO.A small but very vocal contingent of car nuts are inexplicably passionate about “classic” Ford Taurus SHOs.
When Ford decided that it would essentially relegate its Taurus to fleet sales beginning with a 2000 refresh, the Ford Taurus SHO was an early catastrophe. Clamoring SHO nuts begged Ford for a rewrite, which finally arrived as a 2010 promising a new recipe for success.

We finally took Ford up on the opportunity to spend some quality time in a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO, even though we refuse to pronounce “ess-aych-oh” as “show.” Sorry, Blue Oval. The Taurus SHO might seem like just a jazzed up full-size sedan, but it’s much more than that. Fast forward to 2011 and Volvo is no longer part of Ford, but its full-size platform remains under the Blue Oval’s control. Ford first used this architecture in 2005 for its Taurus-replacing Five Hundred, a perennial candidate for the Dullest Car Ever Built award. Then-new CEO Alan Mulally dictated a name change after discovering that Ford let the Taurus nameplate expire and, eventually, he called for a redesign. Bowing for 2010, the latest Taurus follows in a long line of large Ford family sedans that once totally dominated the automotive landscape in America.

This latest car reprises the somewhat historic Ford Taurus SHO nameplate, but instead of the naturally aspirated V6 and V8 front-wheel-drive models that preceded it, the new car boasts a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 and all-wheel-drive. Undoubtedly, the Taurus SHO is loaded with solid tech for the money. It boasts Ford’s still-advanced second-generation infotainment system with Sirius Travel Link updates, a high-power Sony audio system and, if you tick all the right boxes, heated, ventilated and massaging seats covered in leather and synthetic suede.
The Ford Taurus SHO has little to differentiate itself from lesser Taurus models – a good thing if staying covert is your goal.

Ford aimed to make the Taurus SHO feel like a personal luxury vehicle geared at satisfying the most demanding and hedonistic needs. Let’s start with the Taurus’ seats. Ford can do great interiors at this price point – check out the Ford Flex platform mate, for one.

We positively love this 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. Ford’s engineers carefully tuned the intake and exhaust to deliver a mild and refined growl that perfectly suits the vehicle’s mission.
The SHO’s neutral all-wheel-drive system seemed best tuned for outright grip, with each wheel eagerly scrabbling for traction when driven aggressively. Combine the SHO’s so-so steering with substantial body lean and we felt compelled to drive at no more than 7/10ths, where the big sedan seemed happiest.

The quiet, refined ride and extensive sound deadening made the Ford Taurus SHO one of the most silent vehicles we have ever tested.
The Ford Taurus has been redesigned. When Ford redesigned the Taurus in 2010, it added some much-needed life (and competition) to the Affordable Large Car class. Before the Taurus’s update, buyers looking for a comfortable large car with decent performance had only one option: the Toyota Avalon. With the updated Taurus, buyers now have two very good options when shopping large cars.

Car reviewers have a lot of good things to say about the Taurus.
Other Cars to Consider
Most car reviewers say that the Ford Taurus is an excellent large car, but they say the same things about the Toyota Avalon.

Ford Taurus: The Details
The 2011 Taurus is available in SE, more upscale SEL, near-luxury Limited and high-performance Ford Taurus SHO trims. The Ford Taurus SHO is reviewed separately.
After experiencing the performance and the brilliance of the 2011 Ford Taurus SHO, the only thing one might find a bit odd is that the car is called "Taurus". Fortunately, Ford is a company with considerable institutional memory, so when they brought the Taurus back—this time as Ford's top sean—they resurrected the Ford Taurus SHO iteration of the car as well.

More than just a terrific performer though, our test Ford Taurus SHO came loaded with the latest high-tech safety features. The blind spot indication system illuminates indicators on the appropriate side mirror when another car is in a blind spot. Put the Taurus in reverse, the rear window shade retracts (if deployed) and the car's touchscreen displays video from a camera on the trunk.

The Taurus has easily paired Bluetooth capability for hands-free calling with Microsoft's SYNC telematics system. The car's 12-speaker Sony audio system features iPod connectivity, a CD/DVD player and a hard drive for storing music.

2011 Ford Expedition EL Review

2011 Ford Expedition EL
Among the models specifically identified as Ford Expedition EL models, the EL XL level is the lowest; it starts at $39,355. The EL XL comes with four wheel drive, stability control, side and curtain air bags, and an mp3 player.

Beyond the EL XL trim level lies the EL XLT level, which starts at $41,150. Finally, at the top level is the El King Ranch, which is the most luxurious version of the Ford Expedition you can buy without further customization.

The Ford Expedition is a full-size sport-utility vehicle. Ford's 5.4-liter V8 powers all modLinkels.
There are few changes for 2011 Expedition models. Expedition was last redesigned for the 2007 model year.

The Expedition rides on a wheelbase of 119.0 inches, while the EL models stretch that to 131.0 inches. The Expedition and the Expedition EL are big vehicles, measuring more than 17 feet from nose to tail. The Expedition comes with running boards as standard equipment. The Ford Expedition features a rich blend of finishes, textures and color. The second seating row reflects Ford's thoughtful approach to passenger comfort: The standard 40/20/40 bench seat incorporates a center section that slides, bringing a child seat within easier reach of front-seat passengers. The Expedition's second- and third-row bench-type seats fold flat into the cargo floor, affording a long cargo area that can be easily loaded. The Expedition is also available with an optional power-folding third-row seat and electronically powered liftgate to make it even easier to load cargo. The Expedition is about more than convenience.

Driving Impression
The Expedition makes an excellent tow vehicle. With the optional towing package, the standard 4WD Expedition is rated at 8,900 pounds, the 2WD at 9,200 pounds, the 2WD EL at 8,900 pounds, and the 4WD EL at 8,700 pounds. Among full-size sport-utilities, the Ford Expedition stands apart with its superior driving comfort and utility package.

Ford Ka 2011 review

Ford Ka 2011
Ford Ka 2011 review.Specify the Bluetooth-enabled Connectivity Kit, and the Ford Ka comes equipped with Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, a USB port to play music files through the sound system and steering wheel controls. The Ford Ka also offers heated windscreen and heated seats, invaluable for safe and comfortable driving in cold winter conditions.

The all new Ford Ka stands out in small cars category. Ford Ka is not the newest small cars in the market, but it has so much to offer. Our review is based on our own analysis, test drive and features offered by Ford Ka. Ford Ka is cheap to buy and its unique styling makes the most buyers interested. Ka is for buyers looking for cheap small car for family and individual needs.
It is fun to drive car with good funky and friendly design.

Ford Ka is available in three different models Ka Studio, Ka Edge, Ka Zetec, Ka Titanium, Ka Tattoo, Ka Grand Prix, Ka Digital and Ka Tattoo Premium. Ka Edge has all the same features of Ka Studio, but it includes extra smart features with extra payment of just £1,000.
With the choice of refined engines, Ford Ka has so much to offer. Considering other small cars, Ka is adventurous and more focused on performance. Ford Ka offers excellent driving dynamics and manoeuvrability. Interior & Exterior

The interior has bold design, expressive colours and imaginative interior details. For 2011, Ford Ka has received many interior changes with modern pearl with white centres. Ford Ka has unique attention grabbing exterior. Ford Ka comes with many colour choices with bold metallic finishes. You will get all the features of a high end car within the price of a small car. Safety & Reliability

It also features the Ford well-known Intelligent Protection System. Ford Ka is a reliable car to drive with an unlimited miles warranty or 1 year. Ford Ka is a perfect small car for everyone looking forward to buying a small car.
The Chevrolet Spark is on the way, and we think a Ford minicar is too. Though not official yet, the just-redesigned Ka may be headed to America with its own high-fashion blend of low price, high fuel economy, and city-friendly driving fun.
What We Know About the 2011 Ford Ka
Ka's appeal stemmed mainly from its sharp handling, city-friendly size, miserly fuel thirst, and kicky, fun-to-drive nature. The redesigned Ka unveiled in 2008 was supposed to be another "Fiesta Lite," as well as a kissin' cousin to a redesigned Mazda 2 at Ford's Japanese affiliate. As a result, the redesigned Ka is a distant relative of the Italian company's perky retro-style 500 minicar.
What's interesting is that the Fiat connection also improves the odds for a U.S.-market 2011 Ford Ka. Although the new Ka differs in many respects from the lilliputian Latin, we suspect Ford and Fiat-Chrysler could forge some sort of joint production deal down the road.

2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake

2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake
The Ford will release a new sports car, this time the event will be presented at New York International Auto Show 2011 in this month end. Ford Motor Company and Shelby have a long history of working together to develop high-powered, high performing automobiles. The original partnership between Ford and Shelby American founder Carroll Shelby ended in 1969. Ford and Shelby entered into a new agreement in 2003 that has produced a new line of high-performance Shelby Mustangs. Some of the cars are built by Ford Motor Co. and others built at the Shelby American factory in Las Vegas.
2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake
The latest sports car from Ford is the 2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake who has great power. The 2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake is a very handsome car and stern making it very suitable for the American public.
2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake
Shelby American has a rich history at the New York International Auto Show,” said John Luft, president of Shelby American. “The very first Shelby car was introduced there in 1962, as well as the 1968 and 2008 Shelby GT500KR and the 2006 Shelby Hertz GT-H. This year, we’re returning with one of the most powerful and important Shelbys ever built.”
2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake
In the year 2003, Ford Company has signed an agreement with the Las Vegas Car Company named Shelby American Inc. Based on this agreement, the 2012 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake model is built by the Shelby American Inc company. Opting for the Shelby GT500 Super Snake package includes an extensive list of changes to the standard GT500, ranging from cosmetic to truly performance minded parts. Power starts at a measly 750 horsepower and can be upgraded to 800 horsepower, same as the 2011 model, with a Kenne Bell supercharger tune upgrade.
2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake
In the interim, at least with a 2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake 800 horsepower Mustang to rocket around in, those who can afford it can have a lot of fun while challenges to the economy and finances of the United States are resolved. The 2012 Ford Sport Cars Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake is promised by the manufacturer to be street legal in all 50 states. Thus far Ford and Shelby have not indicated how many of the over the top Mustangs will be manufactured. In car crazy America I expect that there is a fairly robust market for a car that can generate up to 800 hp and that sells for less than $100,000.

The New 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic

2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic Reviews

Ford has revealed the all-new 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic and its hybrid-beating fuel consumption figure of 3.5 litres/100km ahead of its debut at next week’s Amsterdam Motor Show.

The 2012 Focus ECOnetic will be powered by the same 1.6-litre Ford Duratorq diesel engine as the Fiesta, although it has 77kW of power (up from 66kW) and has been optimised for enhanced fuel efficiency.

The Focus ECOnetic will be available in five-door hatch and estate body styles. CarAdvice has contacted Ford Australia about its plans for the 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic and its potential to be launched Down Under.

The main reason for this incredible figure is the 1.6-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engine which is further optimized for the ECOnetic with new injection system and turbocharger, improved fill air cooling and friction decrease innovation. Ford Focus also supplied with such an automatic stop and go, Smart Regenerative Charging, Ford Eco Mode and Shift Indicator Light.

The system is mated with Ford’s six-speed manual gear shifter of new revolution Durashift. The other new matter is, otherwise perfectly updated, presents to improve fuel economical usage involving:

- Decrease engine friction from liberate-friction piston ring coatings and optonal flow oil pump.
- Extra decreasing in engine power losses from low inactive vacuum pump and not symmetrical handle sprocket model.
- Revised discharge system mating a diesel NOx-decreasing catalyst with a coated Diesel Particulate Filter system.

The Focus ECOnetic 1.6 liter diesel combined with manual transmission 6-speed Ford Durashift, which is also used in the new Focus models with 1.6-liter TDCi engine. Focus ECOnetic model, standard on the innovative Active Grille Shutter – has developed a new system, which optimizes the aerodynamic behavior of the holes to control the flow of air through the grille and the cooling system and engine room. The new Ford Focus ECOnetic will be produced for the European market lead in manufacturing Focus in Saarlouis, Germany.

2011 Ford Transit Connect

2011 Ford Transit Connect Reviews

Ford's "One Ford" strategy, which refers to the company's plan to leverage its global product lineup to spread models across new markets, is responsible for bringing the Transit Connect stateside. It's a small commercial van Ford introduced in Europe and other markets in 2003. Maximum cargo space is about 135 cubic feet, close to that of larger minivans. The front-wheel-drive Transit Connect comes in cargo and passenger configurations, the latter with a second row

From the load floor to the ceiling, Ford says there's up to 59.1 inches of room, just 5.9 inches short of what a standard-height Dodge Sprinter offers. The Ford Transit Connect enters its sophomore year in the U.S. with few changes. The most important addition is a new model and powertrain option: the Ford Transit Connect Electric, which is reviewed separately.

Offered as both a cargo and passenger van, the Transit Connect is more suited for commercial than personal use. As Consumer Guide says, "Transit Connect neatly fills a size gap between the compact Chevrolet HHR Panel and enormous Dodge/Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The Transit Connect succeeds as a small cargo van. For businesses, Ford also offers its Work Solutions computer system. Unless the vast cargo space or increased payload/towing capacity of a full-size van are absolutely essential to you, the Transit Connect is a viable and economical alternative for businesses in need of a commercial van.

However there are many vehicles that can be cross-shopped with the Transit Connect. However the Mazda5 and Kia Rondo offer far less cargo space compared to the Transit Connect.
Like most European-bred vans, the 2011 Ford Transit Connect is all about packing maximum functionality into minimum space.

The 2011 Ford Transit Connect is a compact work van available in XL Van, XLT Van, XLT Wagon and XLT Premium Wagon trim levels. The XLT Van adds body-color bumpers, full power accessories, heated mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, a cargo area 12-volt power point and a CD player.

Entry-level XLT Wagon models get stability control, foglights and a 60/40-split-folding three-passenger second-row bench seat. The new XLT Premium Wagon adds flip-open rear side windows, storage pockets in the rear doors and a four-speaker audio system.

The Van trims can also be equipped with the Tool Link by DeWalt tool tracking and inventory system. Options available on the XLT trims include rear parking sensors, rear doors that open to 255 degrees, Bluetooth and remote ignition. Every 2011 Ford Transit Connect features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine good for 138 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque.
EPA-estimated fuel economy is 20 mpg city/26 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined.
Standard safety equipment includes four-wheel antilock brakes (disc front, drum rear) and front side airbags. Stability control is standard on Wagon models and available as an option on Van body styles. In NHTSA frontal crash tests, the Transit Connect earned a top five-star frontal crash rating for the driver and a four-star rating for the front seat passenger, as well as five stars for both front and rear passengers in side-impact tests.

Inside, the Transit Connect offers a carlike driving position. When it comes to cargo capacity, the Transit Connect Van offers a healthy 135 cubic feet, which is about 100 cubic feet less than Ford's larger Econoline vans. For ferrying people around, the Wagon's rear seats offer a firm seat bottom and reasonable elbow room. The 2011 Ford Transit Connect's emphasis on practicality is reflected in the driving experience.

launched the All New Ford Ranger in Bangkok

Bangkok - finally has launched the All New Ford Ranger in Bangkok, Thailand. Cars are designed with F1 technology, is a version of 'soft' of F 150 are believed to fulfill the dreams of the fans the type of vehicle pickup.

To eliminate the sense of wonder about the All New Ranger, will try to peel a bit about this vehicle. All New Ranger will be launched in three cab styles regular, super, and double cabin.

Not only that, on the engine, all-new Ranger is divided into
two Duration Tacit diesel engine and one unit of Duarte petrol engine.

"We know that there are super on the Ranger. Super Cab has a unique four-door system that provides no barriers to the cabin via two front-hinged doors and two rear-hinged access panels. The structure of the side impact safety without compromise replaces the traditional pillars of middle Double Cab" Chief Design says Craig Metros New Ford Ranger at the Hotel Shangri-La Bangkok, Thailand, on Wednesday 3/23

Craig admits, New Ford Ranger DNA is derived from the F 150 with. However, not only directly granted annex F 150, New Ford Ranger has the corners of a sharper and more aerodynamic.

It is also driven on a survey conducted by Ford to its consumers a more need vehicles softer than the F 150.

"The ability to pull up to 3350 Kg in his class on a particular model proves toughness characteristic of the latest Ford Ranger compact pickup for the global marketplace," said Craig.

Craig also explained that the Ranger is available in 4x2 and 4x4, and two height drive in which the Hi-Rider 4x2 uses the same frame with 4x4 models.

Unfortunately, not yet known exactly how much prices are set for vehicle pickup truck.

2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 convertible

Shelby GT500
2011 Ford Shelby GT500
A Ford Shelby GT500 convertible for many people a very emotional machine, an icon of American drivers, that the images required in the classic Detroit iron crosses Woodward Avenue or Jets Throwdown pull all muscle strips.

When you grow up in Detroit, the Ford Mustang is so much more than just another performance car. At the tippy top of the Mustang hierarchy sits the Shelby GT500 with its supercharged 5.4-liter V8, 550 horsepower and an exhaust note that will wake the neighbors. For 2011, Ford has tweaked the GT500's core, not to mention stiffening individual components of both the front and rear suspension setups. Unfortunately, Ford falls victim to this with all of its Mustangs, especially from the top-down side profile. Even with the soft top in place, the Shelby GT500 Convertible's interior is spacious and comfortable, though it should be when you consider the car's overall size. We love convertibles, but we also love stiffness and sharpness with our performance cars.

Ford has introduced a heavily revised version of its Shelby GT500 range-topper for its latest model year.

For the first time, Ford's Shelby GT500 is going to an all-aluminum version of the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 that was in the 2010 GT500. One piece of technology that helped to make this muscle car a little slimmer was the addition of a Plasma Transferred Wire Arc cylinder lining. The latest Shelby GT500 will be the first modern Shelby without a gas guzzler tax, thanks to the EPA-projected 15 mpg city, and 23 mpg highway ratings. Ford has also lowered the Shelby GT500 by 11 millimeters up front, and 8 millimeters out back for improved handling. SVT says it added slotted brake dust shields to help improve brake cooling and handling, as well as a new pedal box with is aimed at improving clutch and pedal efforts.

Ford also stiffened the chassis on the convertible by 12 percent over the outgoing model - allowing for improved lateral stiffness. Other features include AdvanceTrac stability control (which can be disabled), dual stage front air bags, side-impact air bags, Ford SYNC, 911 Assist, a constantly updated Vehicle Health Report (VHR), and an Ambient Lighting System with MyColor.

2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid Reviews

As its name implies the Ford Fusion Hybrid is a gas-electric version of the the popular midsize family sedan. The hybrid model was first introduced when Ford nearly completely redesigned the Fusion in 2009.

Starting at $28,100, basic features include: 10-way power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, automatic headlights, keyless entry, power windows, mirrors, and locks, capless refueling, traction control, and ABS. Priced $1000 above the Toyota Camry Hybrid, customers can select an optional GPS system, heated leather seats, and/or a Sony audio system.
The Fusion Hybrid, Ford's first hybrid passenger car, comes to market with technology designed to help drivers operate the car in a more efficient manner. Competitors include the Toyota Camry Hybrid and Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid.

The gas-only Fusion is covered separately in the Cars.com Research section-The Fusion Hybrid is based on the gas-powered Fusion that was redesigned for the 2010 model year. Exterior features include:

New blind spot mirrors for cars not equipped with electronic blind spot warning system-The seat fabric in the Fusion Hybrid is made from recycled materials; leather seats are optional.
The Fusion Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Side curtain airbags

Unlike hybrids that have gone before, the 2011 Fusion Hybrid is rewarding to drive thanks to relatively brisk acceleration and crisp handling.

Of course, the fundamental appeal of a hybrid car still remains within this Ford sedan. The EPA estimates you'll get 41 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, which is considerably better than the numbers posted by other midsize hybrid sedans that compete with the Fusion Hybrid.

As with the regular Fusion, the hybrid also boasts a spacious, well-finished cabin loaded with thoughtful luxury features. Highlights of the latter include dual-zone automatic climate control, rear park assist and Ford's superb Sync multimedia voice control system. As hybrid sedans go, the 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid is certainly one of our favorites. The only other hybrid sedan we'd recommend checking out is the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. The 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid is a midsize sedan available in a single trim level. The Ford Fusion Hybrid utilizes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 156 hp and 136 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is an EPA-estimated 41 mpg city/36 mpg highway and 39 mpg combined.

The 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, MyKey and rear parking sensors. A blind-spot warning system and rearview camera are optional. At the Edmunds test track, the Fusion Hybrid stopped from 60 mph in 126 feet, which is a short distance for a hybrid car on low-rolling-resistance tires.

The Fusion Hybrid also earned four stars for rear side protection. The Fusion Hybrid's high-quality cabin features abundant soft-touch materials, and the overall look is austere but attractive. The "Fusion Hybrid" gets a distinctive gauge cluster dubbed SmartGauge, featuring a pair of color display screens flanking a traditional speedometer. Interior storage space is adequate, although trunk capacity is compromised by the car's battery pack, which is typical of hybrid sedans.

Other than the Altima Hybrid (which is only sold in 11 states) and the new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, the 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid is the most engaging hybrid sedan to drive; it's a car, not just a transportation pod.

Ford Focus 2012 Electric

2012 Ford Focus Electric will be launched in late 2011 in 19 U.S. cities.
Cities include: Boston, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and New York.

Locations were partially chosen based on commuting patterns and existing hybrid purchase trends.

Ford said the Focus Electric will be the company's first battery-powered passenger car. It will follow the Ford Transit Connect Electric, a small battery-powered city delivery vehicle that debuts next summer.

Ford has released a teaser shot of its 2012 Focus Electric, which the company plans to show at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show later this week. A series of countdown photos on the Ford Electric Vehicles Facebook wall showed a ring—likely surrounding the charge port—being illuminated in stages, one quarter at a time. The capacity of the car’s battery pack is 23 kWh, 1 kWh shy of the Nissan Leaf’s, and the car should return a similar 100-mile range on the LA4 test cycle.

Designed with enough range to cover the daily-driving habits of most Americans, the Ford Focus 2012 Electric is powered by a permanent-magnet electric motor making 123 hp (92 kW) and 181 pound-feet of torque. Ford is emphasizing that the 2012 Ford Focus Electric is a real car, capable of accelerating smoothly to a top speed of 84 mph.

More than Nissan is doing with its Leaf EV, Ford is pitching the Focus Electric as an EV that's exciting to drive. "Much of Focus Electric's steering, handling, and braking feel is shared with the agile, sporty, fuel-powered Focus models upon which it's based, making Focus Electric a dynamic driver's car," Ford says in a release.

Nut EV enthusiasts are anticipated to be a large portion of Focus Electric buyers; Ford says that "achieving maximum range in Focus Electric will be a big part of the fun for most drivers."

2011 Ford F-150 EcoBoost

Ford completely revamped the F-150 powertrain lineup by offering four new engines, including a new all-aluminum 3.7-liter DOHC V-6, an all-aluminum 5.0-liter DOHC V-8, an all-new all-aluminum 3.5-liter EcoBoost direct-injection twin turbo DOHC V-6, and the 6.2-liter SOHC V-8 we've already seen in the Raptor and new Super Dutys. To counter their skepticism, Ford marketing gurus (no doubt after consulting with several engineers) have devised a multi-stage torture test worthy of the Marquis de Sade.

The fourth option: Ford's 3.5-liter, twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6, an unlikely but completely common-sense alternative to V-8 thirst and thin V-6 torque.

It's a careful step into the future of truck performance by Ford. The new EcoBoost engine, in this application, breathes out 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Twinned with the new standard six-speed automatic, the "F-150 EcoBoost" power is essentially V-8-like down low, where it counts. The turbos are staged to deliver a groundswell of torque at low engine speeds (90 percent of it comes as low as 1750 rpm), and Ford's making some fast rear-axle ratios available to maximize the grunt for EcoBoost buyers doing medium- to heavy-duty chores.

It's not light on talent, either: the massive torque means some versions of the EcoBoost-equipped F-150 will tow 11,300 pounds. As for fuel economy, Ford's predicting class-leading gas mileage, though the final numbers won't be released until early next year, when the EcoBoost F-150 goes on sale. When all's said and tabulated in Excel, the EcoBoost engine will be offered on 91 percent of the 2011 F-150's model variants.

It's an important step in Ford's transition up the fuel-economy ladder--and up a few performance rungs, too. If you can leap the psychological hurdle of picking a V-6 full-size truck instead of being stuck with one, the "F-150 EcoBoost" won't leave you lagging behind.

Pickup-truck buyers, after all, notoriously favor the tried-and-true. Ford understands that traditionalists will take some convincing, and it doesn’t help matters that the EcoBoost will command $1750 more than the 3.7-liter V-6 and $750 more than the 5.0-liter V-8. Deceptively Powerful

The EcoBoost, as with all other F-150 engines, is mated solely to Ford’s updated 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission with manumatic shifting; the blown engine is available in nearly every body configuration with either rear- or four-wheel drive.

We drove several F-150 models—as well as competitive trucks—both unladen and towing trailers weighing up to 6700 pounds, and the EcoBoost felt noticeably strong and never seemed to run out of breath. Ford says 90 percent of the engine’s torque is on tap from 1700 rpm to 5000. Capable of tugging 11,300 pounds or carrying 3060 in the bed—both best in the segment—the F-150 EcoBoost managed Ford’s trailers with ease, chugging along smoothly in top gear on uphill highway sections.

An off-road setting tracks the truck’s vertical and lateral movements. The least expensive F-150 EcoBoost variant is a $25,440 regular-cab XL with rear-wheel drive and an eight-foot bed; the priciest is a four-wheel-drive Platinum SuperCrew with a 6.5-foot bed, which starts at $48,770.

2012 Ford Expedition Reviews

2012 Ford Expedition Reviews
The 2012 Ford Expedition comes with two different engines The 2012 Ford Expedition comes with premium quality interior material. The interior seat wrap comes in varied colours like stone cloth, camel cloth, stone leather and camel leather.

The 2012 Ford Expedition is the biggest SUV in Ford’s fleet and is expected to get revisions that include minor changes to styling and some cabin updates. Meanwhile, falling demand for Expedition’s extended-length version, the Expedition EL, might have Ford thinking about dropping that body style for model-year 2012 or 2013.

Should you wait for the "2012 Ford Expedition" or buy the 2011 Ford Expedition? Wait for the "2012 Expedition". The 2012 Ford Expedition is expected to receive assorted exterior and interior styling revisions as part of a moderate makeover. Its basic size and shape aren’t likely to change: no worries, the 2012 Ford Expedition will remain large, long, and boxy.

The regular-length 2012 Ford Expedition will return at some 17.2 feet long, bumper to bumper, with the EL version -- should it survive -- repeating at a full 18.4 feet. Check your available garage space before committing to an Expedition.

The 2012 Expedition probably will wear a new front end featuring an updated version of Ford’s trademark three-bar grille. Inside, the 2012 Ford Expedition will probably get a mildly freshened dashboard with updated gauges and a revised center stack of controls. Both 2012 Ford Expedition body lengths will again carry seven passengers on three rows of seats, or eight when the middle row is fitted with a bench seat instead of two captain’s chairs. In either configuration, the 2012 Ford Expedition will continue with comfy seating and ample head, shoulder and leg room for first- and second-row passengers.

The 2012 Expedition’s second- and third-row seats will again fold down to expand cargo capabilities. And cargo volume the Expedition does have. The regular-length model has 18.6 cubic feet behind the third row, 55 cubic feet with the third row folded, and 108.3 with both rear rows stowed. In the Expedition EL, the cubic-foot-volume figures are 42.6, 85.5, and 130.8, respectively.

The 2012 Ford Expedition should again be offered in multiple trim levels complemented by numerous options opportunities. Mechanical: The 2012 Ford Expedition is expected to offer new engine choices that can help bring this automotive throwback into the modern age. Out to pasture should go the long-serving 5.4-liter V-8 with its 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque.
One possibility is Expedition’s first V-6, which likely would become the 2012 model’s base engine. Tuned for truck duty in the F-150, output is 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The 2012 Ford Expedition will continue with a choice of rear-drive or optional four-wheel drive (4wd). As before, the 2012 Ford Expedition will come standard with Ford’s AdvanceTrac stability control system that works to prevent fishtailing in extreme cornering or emergency handling maneuvers. The 2012 Ford Expedition will also continue standard with antilock four-wheel-disc antilock brakes for added stability in stops. Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Suburban/GMC Yukon XL: These are the General Motors rivals to the Expedition. Suburban and Yukon XL also should return in heavier-duty models available with a 352-horse 6.0-liter V-8. Estimated base-prices range is $38,500-$55,000 for Tahoe/Yukon and $41,000-$56,000 for Suburban/Yukon XL.

Estimated base-price range is $39,000-$54,000. Toyota Sequoia: Based on the Toyota Tundra pickup truck, the Sequoia, like the Nissan Armada, is slightly larger than the regular-length Expedition (and Tahoe) but smaller than the Expedition EL (and Suburban/Yukon XL). Estimated base-price range is $40,000-$60,000.

2011 Ford Taurus Reviews

2011 Ford Taurus - this ain’t your Mama’s Taurus! Options found on foreign-designed vehicles are standard equipment in the new" Ford Taurus". The 2011 Ford Taurus is a car with appeal, engineering, features and benefits that won’t take a back seat to any other vehicle in the world.

The "Ford Taurus" has been redesigned.

Most car reviewers say that the Ford Taurus is an excellent large car, but they say the same things about the Toyota Avalon.

The 2011 Taurus is available in SE, more upscale SEL, near-luxury Limited and high-performance SHO trims. The Ford Taurus SHO is reviewed separately.

A new high-performance Taurus SHO, powered by a turbocharged V-6, also joined the model line. The only down side to the new Taurus versus the old? Although the 2011 Ford Taurus can hardly be called exciting, it's a big improvement over the pre-2010 version. The 2011 Ford Taurus moves off the line smartly with its 3.5-liter V-6, making 263 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque. The Taurus SHO benefits from a lot more power, but it's a little less transformational than in past SHO Taurus sedans—in part because the SHO puts the power to the road with such stoicism and a lack of pulse-raising excitement. Road manners for standard Taurus models are quite impressive; the 2011 Taurus rides more firmly than you might expect from such a big sedan, taut but not high-strung, with a smooth ride and some natural body roll.

Front seats in the Ford Taurus are a little constrained by the large console, though it has great room for tall drivers. The Taurus is strong on safety. The Taurus SHO also offers an optional rearview camera.
The long list of standard features on the 2011 Ford Taurus means even base versions are well-equipped. The Taurus SE gets an AM/FM/CD player with MP3 playback; tilt/telescope steering; a 60/40 split-folding rear seat; a power driver seat; and power locks, windows, and mirrors.

Ford F-150 pick-up trucks Recall in the U.S. and Canada

Ford F-150 Recall
The Ford recall of 144,000 F-150 pick-up trucks sold in the 2005 and 2006 model years is due to inadvertent airbag deployment.

Ford Motor Co. announced Wednesday it will recall almost 150,000 F-150 pickups in the U.S. and Canada because of a potential airbag problem, but that's a small fraction of the 1.3 million trucks government auto safety regulators asked Ford to recall.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has the authority to force Ford to recall all the vehicles it asked for. The trucks being recalled were produced between November 2004 and June 2005 at Ford's Norfolk, Va., assembly plant. Ford said it is recalling only the vehicles made at this plant because the rate of unwanted airbag deployments for these particular trucks is many times higher than for trucks made at other factories.
A warning light indicating the airbag requires servicing usually lights up multiple times before the deployment occurs, Ford (F, Fortune 500) added.

The Ford F-series truck has been the best-selling passenger vehicle in America for almost 30 years.
Ford Motor Co. said Wednesday it will recall thousands of F-150 pickup trucks for potential airbag problems, the second safety issue this month with its best-selling vehicle.
Owners reported airbags inadvertently deploying after starting their pickups, Ford spokesman Wes Sherwood said in a statement--That recall started Feb. 14.

The recall involves trucks built at Ford's now-closed Norfolk, Va., auto factory from November 2004 through June 2005 and sold in the 2005 and 2006 model years. The automaker said the inadvertent airbag deployments are preceded by many illuminations of the airbag warning lamp indicating that restraint system service is required.

Federal safety regulators are reviewing Ford's recall plans and looking into whether the automaker's plan will fix enough vehicles with the potential for unexpected airbag deployment

The F-Series is the bestselling truck in America and last year was the nation's top selling vehicle of any type.

Trucks built at factories in Dearborn, Mich., and in Kansas City had much smaller rates of unexpected airbag deployment.

If not serviced, and unique circumstances occur, an inadvertent driver frontal airbag deployment may occur."

Federal safety regulators had wanted Ford to recall 1.3 million of the trucks, a wider range that included vehicles from the 2004 through 2006 model year. Sherwood said Ford decided it could correct the problem with a limited recall.

2011 Ford Fusion Reviews

The Ford Fusion has it all figured out. The Fusion does it with a canny mix of American style and global-think green-ness. There's no mistaking its brash chrome-barred grille as anything but pure Detroit--even while its downsized and hybridized four-cylinder engine turns in faultless city fuel economy on a par with Honda's hybrids.

The "2011 Ford Fusion" is a midsize sedan available in S, SE, Sport and SEL trim levels. The SE adds 17-inch alloys, foglamps, automatic headlights, dual exhaust tips, a fold-flat passenger seat, an eight-way power driver seat with manual recline and lumbar, steering-wheel radio controls and a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio.

The Sport adds a sport-tuned suspension and steering setup, 18-inch wheels, exclusive styling cues inside and out, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 10-way power driver seat, a four-way power passenger seat, unique leather-trimmed seats and the Sync entertainment and communications interface. The Fusion SEL adds heated exterior mirrors, puddle lights, a numerical keyless entry pad, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and leather upholstery.

The 2011" Ford Fusion" features three different engines. The base power plant -- standard on S, SE and SEL models -- is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 175 hp and 172 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is optional on the Sport and V6-powered SEL.

The 3.0-liter V6 has a 20/28/23 mpg rating and the 3.5-liter V6 drops to 18/27/21 mpg.

Antilock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags and side curtain airbags are standard on all Fusions. The Sport model feels particularly buttoned-down thanks to its sport-tuned suspension.

The 2011 Ford Fusion ranks 2 out of 18 Affordable Midsize Cars. Reviewers were impressed with the 2010 Ford Fusion’s upscale interior, more powerful engine options and available all-wheel drive. The 2011 Ford Fusion maintains these traits, but gains a few more improvements.

The Ford Fusion had an excellent 2010. Perhaps one of the coolest additions to the 2011 Ford Fusion is the MyKey system. Most car reviewers agree that the 2011 Ford Fusion is ideal for small families.

If price isn’t an issue, but eco-friendliness and fuel economy are priorities, the Ford Fusion Hybrid is a wise choice. In addition to great fuel economy, buyers receive the same sprightly performance and high-quality interior finishing and amenities the 2011 Ford Fusion gasoline models offer.
Also, the Ford Fusion is one of the few Affordable Midsize Cars available with All-Wheel-Drive, making it a popular family car in the snowbelt.

2011 Ford Ranger

2011 Ford Ranger Review

Ford keeps its streak alive with its compact Ranger pickup. The Ranger is a true compact truck, sized below the mid-size Toyota Tacoma, Dodge Dakota and Nissan Frontier. Only GM's truck twins, the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado, still offer the smaller dimensions in the truck class. There’s no true four-door version of the Ranger, but the SuperCab has two small access doors for cargo stowage.

Three versions are offered--XL, XLT and Sport. Last year, the Ranger adopted standard seat-mounted side airbags and electronic stability control.
The biggest drawback is the 2011 Ford Ranger's dated design.

The "2011 Ford Ranger" is a compact pickup truck available in regular-cab and extended-cab (SuperCab) body styles. Both are available in XL, XLT and Sport trim levels. The Ranger Sport receives upgraded wheels (16-inch alloys on 4x4 models), a full-size spare tire, heavy-duty gas shocks (SuperCab), skid plates (SuperCab 4x4 models only), sidestep bars, bucket seats and a center console.

The 2011 Ford Ranger comes standard with a 2.3-liter inline-4 that produces 143 horsepower and 154 pound-feet of torque. This engine is only available with rear-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive and a five-speed manual are standard, with four-wheel drive and a five-speed automatic available separately.

The 2011 Ford Ranger comes standard with four-wheel antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags and stability control. In government crash testing, the Ranger earned a top five-star rating for driver protection in frontal impacts and four stars for front passenger protection. SuperCab models can be had with a pair of rear-seat access doors and small, inward-facing rear jump seats.

Ford Ranger is a series of pick up trucks manufactured and marketed by Ford Motor Company. First generation (1998 to 2006) of Ford Ranger (international model) was engineered and designed by Japan engineers and second generation (2006 to 2011) by Mazda and marketed as Mazda BT-50 and third generation of Ford Ranger will be designed by Ford Australia.

2011 Ford Ranger is a compact pock up truck available in regular can and extended cab styles. All cab styles are offered with 6 foot bed and 7 foot bed is optional for all regular cab models.
2011 Ford Ranger XL trim is equipped with trailer hitch, 15 inch steel wheel, vinyl upholstery, split front bench seat, AM and FM stereo and air conditioner. Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 model is added with 15 inch alloy wheels, two hooks and heavy duty shock absorbers. This powertrain is available only with rear wheel drive channel.
